Where to purchase lanyard?

Wal-Mart has them located near the wallets, cost about .99cents They also had them onboard for about $7-$8 The ones onboard looked a lot better than the wal-mart ones, but it is just a personal decision.

If I remember correctly, they do have the dcl logo on them...and they have a release clip in the middle portion of the lanyard, so that if a child, or anyone, is wearing them and they get caught on something, they release quickly, preventing choking.

Yes they have the DCL logo on them I beleive. The wal-mart ones are velcro'd together so they would also release if caught on something. I thought I read on a previous post that you could buy the dcl ones at one of the shops in the terminal, but the shop is closed now due to hurricane damage. You should still be able to find them on the ship too.

You can...we bought ours at the Customer Service desk onboard...they were inexpensive - around $4.00 each.

The 97 cents Walmart lanyard has a ziplock, but it does NOT keep out water.
I had one on at Blizzard Beach and soaked my money! When we went to Typhoon Lagoon, I put the door/ticket card and cash into a snack size zippy bag inside the zipped lanyard and it STILL got wet.
I'm going to order the lime green water wallet from DIS or wait until the ship and get a logo one there. The DIS water wallet is $6.
HTH,
Melanie
