Where to pick up EMH wrist bands at MK?

DH and I are going to WDW in January, staying at SSR, and we want to do EMH (evening) at the MK on our first night.

Where do we pick up the wrist bands for this?

Also, do we have to get them by a certain time? (our plane doesn't get in until 5pm, so we probably won't get to the MK until around 7pm)

Hi there,
Getting your EMH tickets is really easy... you need your room key and park ticket!(may be the same thing depending on how you booked) Take them with you to the MK and after going through the turnstyles into the park you will find CM's giving out wristbands! They will be standing by a board saying 'Extra Magic Hour wristbands' or something equally obvious. They are also found throughout the parks, but there are always some by the entrance. Show them your room key and they will give you your wristband! Easy!

We picked our wristbands up right outside MK once you enter the turnstiles. There was a short line either left or right where they scanned (I believe) your room key then the next person gave you the wristband. If you are already in the park, there are a few locations but I don't recall exactly where.

Yeah it's worth it... maybe you should stay onsite sometime... the whole experience is fun... maybe you could rent some points from someone on the DVC board, and get a really nice experience...

DH and I are soooo excited. We've been to DL many, many times, but this will be our first visit to WDW. It's only a short trip, but we'll make good use of our time since we won't have our little boys with us. We'll be there Jan 21-25.

Ah-ha.... we fly to florida on 18th Jan, but then have one night in WDW before driving (we've never done that in the US before) to vero beach for 6 nights... we then head back to WDW for the rest of our time... We are very excited too.

We love WDW and have been a few times, I can never wait to go back. Have to say though that once you've done WDW nowhere else will be good enough. What are you looking forward to most? I love animal kingdom and the new ride Expedition Everest is amazing if you like thrills, but for the quiet one in me I just LOVE mickey's Philharmagic in the magic kingdom... it's a 3d show.

Hmmmmm - what do I look forward to most?....that's a tough one for me because there's so much I'm looking forward to.

I'm looking forward to the first "alone" time I've had with my DH in 8 years of course.

I'm looking forward to EVERYTHING at Epcot! I can't wait to explore the park and riding every ride I can while being able to indulge in a little good wine and food along the way!

At the MK, I'm looking forward to seeing the HUGE castle, Spectromagic, Mickey's Philharmagic, and riding all our favorites that we've come to love at DL (Pirates, BTMRR, SM, Buzz).

At AK, I'm really looking forward to EE (of course), the safari, and Dinosaur (which looks like a fun ride to me)!

At MGM, I'm excited to ride RnR, and for the first time DH and I are going to muster up the courage to ride TOT! We're also looking forward to the Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, and the Backlot Tour.

Also, quite honestly we're looking forward to checking out a few of the resorts too - SSR (where we're staying), WL, BC, BW, and maybe the Poly.

Anyway, it should be a GREAT TIME! Hope you have fun on your trip too!

We did evening EMH on our last trip, when we went through the turnstyle the line for wrist bands were super long. We asked a CM if we could get the wristbands elsewhere, he said we could pick them up in each land. So, off we went to Future World. We walked right up to the CMs near Space Mt. and got our wristbands! No lines, it was great!

So if you see long lines when you come through the turnstyles wait until you get to the lands to pick up your wristband!
