We will be driving our RV down early June, and staying at OKW. Does anyone know if we are allowed to park RVs on site, or must we park at FW? TIA!! :)

Not an RV but a pick-up truck and pop-up camper. We stayed at POFQ and were able to park there without a problem. I do, however, think the parking lot is bigger at POFQ than OKW.

Sorry no help here but... last trip down we swung by the Poly and there were one or two BIG motor homes parkes in the corner of their lot and they were plugged in to boot. That would be cooollllll.
Good luck that sounds like the way to travel.:thumbsup2

At OKW we saw a couple of RVs parked back in the area by building 55 one year. I also saw trailers that were parked in the turtle pond area. The trailer was in one spot and the car in the next. You might call ahead to the resort and let them know so they can assign you a room in an area that has parking for your size vehicle.

there policy is no - think you park at POR - that say if enough members are using DME - pretty sure they will allow it.

just depends.

We were just at OKW this past week. As you can see in my signature that we are campers as well. This trip we had some free plane tickets, so we flew down and rented a car. From what I saw after driving around, parking is at a premium at OKW, and I would not want to park our 38' MH there... its just too tight. I did not see any "open" parking areas (you know the areas where you can pull through and take up two spaces). The other thing you will have to look out for is the trees and limbs. The main roadways are open so that the buses can manuever, but there are alot of limbs that overhang the parking spots.

If I were a betting man, I would say that you will have to park in the overflow lot at FW, or make some arrangements to park in POFQ, or Riverside where the lot is larger.

There's nothing like riding in your "living room" on the way down or back from Disney!!

From page 30 of the planner " No RV or oversized vehicle parking is available at HHI or OKW. At these resorts, the vehicle will be parked in another location". It's not so much due to other guest and their parking space, it has to do with the buses and the turning radius at many of the stops like South Point and Miller Road where the buses have to make a pretty tight turn.
