I'll be coming from the Cape on Tuesday night to see the Lion King. I was thinking that City Place might be a good place to park but I'm not sure how close it is to the theatre. Any suggestions from anyone who has already been?

City Place would be very convienent to the theatre. It's only about a five minute walk to the theatre.

There is a fairly large lot directly across the street from the theater. I have never had a problem getting a space there, even during the day, I sometimes use it when I am going to see a customer that is just down the street. I don't know if it would fill up for the show though. The cheapest place would probably be the garage on Boston Common, not too bad of a walk.

It did fill up for yesterday's matinee, it was chaos and mayhem when the show let out, the attendants were extremely rude, and it was $22. I would never use it again, I'd definitely go to a garage, especially if there is one you are familiar with and know how to get in and out of from where you're coming from.

Thanks everyone for the info........ think I might stick with City Place. I know there are some food stands in there which is all we will have time for since my son can't get out of work early. I believe it also has bathrooms :bounce: so we won't have to try to wait in line in the theatre.

Anyone know what the best exit would be (coming from the Cape)Should we get off exit #20 or take Commonwealth Ave to Washington Street?
