Where to Order Gift From?

Yikes! I just realized that my dad's birthday is on Saturday. I need to have a gift delivered--fast! I was thinking somethimg along the lines of gourmet nuts, cookies, etc.

Can anyone recommend a website that I can place an order on that would be able to deliver by this Saturday? And to keep it budget-related, have you ever found a coupon code for that site?

The fastest way that won't break the budget is probably going to be to contact a local place to him and see what they can do. Do you know any special restaurant that he loves or favorite snack shop?

A florist shop may sell some gourmet treats or be willing to pick some up and deliver them. I used to work at one years ago and sometimes we'd do a special order like that. I'm not sure what your budget is but a delivery that soon will be expensive unless it's local.

You can try Amazon Overnight, but I'm not sure if they deliver on Saturday. Is your Dad Internet savvy? If so, you could send him an e Gift Card.

At this point, unless you go with the internet gift card, local is your best bet. Do they have a large grocery chain that has a delivery service?

I've sent my Mom several items from Edible Arrangements over the years. I believe most of them will deliver 7 days a week BUT they have to have a store in the area you want to send to. You didn't mention what that area was, so I don't know if they fit the bill or not.

Mom reports she's loved everything, but simple boxes of Chocolate Covered Strawberries are by far her favorite. She will rave about those for weeks afterwards.

I've found $5 off coupons just about every time I've ordered from them by Googling.

Shari's Berries are another chain to look into - looks like they have a 20% off coupon on their website right now. (I like the chocolate Edible Arrangements uses better though so I go with them first whenever possible)

If there is an edible arrangements near him, they can deliver usually with a day notice. Other than that, check local businesses near his house. Shari's Berries had a Groupon out.
