Where to kids eat while parents are in Palo?

One more time on this subject - please clarify this information for me.

Where do the children eat that are in the club/lab while the parents are in Palo?

Do you feed them before or after your Palo dinner reservation?

Do they eat in the kids club/lab?

What about the children in Flounder's - do you feed them before or after your dinner reservation? I am under the assumption that children in Flounder's do not get fed?

Can't speak to the Flounders question but as for the Club/Lab the times the kids are eating is listed in the navigators. If you kids are checked in during that time they will eat with the programs. Usually it is at the buffet restaurant. I've also read that sometimes kids go to the regular diningroom seating while parents eat at Palo. I presume this would depend on the age, maturity, comfort of your kids of course.

Thanks for such a quick response. My cousin is coming with us and her DS is 5 so he is a bit too young to eat by himself in the regular rotation.

I am glad that they do have the option of eating with their group. That helps matters out!!

The clubs eat rather early- around 5 - 5:30.

If your reservations for Palo are later you can always get pizza, burgers, chicken fingers, etc from Pinnochios and Plutos by the Goofy pool. There is always room service too.

We took the kids to our regular scheduled dinner. While the kids had their regular meal, we just had a fruit cup. After dinner we took the kids to Oceanear Club, and had a wonderful meal at Palo's.

Our kids went with the Lab/Club to their dinners and had a lot of fun doing the buffet thing. We told our DD* to make sure she picked out a vegetable. Here's the after-dinner conversation:
Me: Did you have a vegetable?
DD: Is Ravioli a vegetable?
Me: Uh, no.
DD: Darn.

They'll be fine, and you'll have a great time at Palos!

"DS would you mind if Dad and I get dressed up and go out to dinner without you? You can get room service pizza"

- "um Mom are you feeling okay?" just say the word pizza and this kid is all set

(Im hoping to get Palos on either semi-formal or formal night when DH is already in a tux. The other night we will all dressup, have formal pictures taken and dine together.)

One time our ds3.5 ate with the club, which is early around 5.30, we then picked him up for the show at 6.30 let him have popcorn or other snack while watching that. Then dropped him back at the club later while we went to eat at Palos at around 8.30. It worked out great and he had fun too.
