Where to go for Bloodwork near WDW??

......Where can my father have bloodwork done that is very near to Pop Century/WDW? Does anyone know where I can get more info on a place? He is on coumadin and will need to just have his blood tested while we are on vacation next month and then have them fax the results back to his doctor?

.....Also, does anyone know of any services that would come directly to our resort to draw his blood instead?

Probably your best bet would be Florida Hospital Celebration Health. That is the closest medical facility to Pop. The only other place I can think of nearby is Florida Hospital's Centra Care in Lake Buena Vista, but that is more of an urgent care center than anything else. You can get more information as to the requirements of paperwork you need to have by contacting Celebration Hospital at 407-764-4000. It would probably be best if someone from you doctor's office contacted them directly.

I can't think of any service that would come to a room to do the draw. Timing would be very difficult and more than likely no insurance would cover the much higher costs.

You should try working with his doctor and (if there is one) the Social Worker at his clinic. The testing will need to be arranged ahead of time, with orders from the doctor regarding what tests he needs and physician orders for those tests. A Social Worker could help you to get payment arranged also.
I don't think you would be likely to have any luck with having someone come to draw the blood. For some tests, it's important to have the blood tested as soon as possible. The test they do for follow-up for Coumadin would be one of those types of tests because it is looking at how long it takes for the blood to clot. There are portable testing devices that a service could use to do the tests in-home (or hotel), but i don' know whether anyone has them in the Orlando area or not and it may not be reimbursed for since he's not homebound.
