We have a babysitter for a evening. So Dh and I would like to go to dtd see a movie and go out to dinner. So I need a good place to eat.
Any suggestions?

Whe are on the dining plan but we can pay out of pcoket for this meal since the rest of the 9 nights are free.:thumbsup2

I don't eat seafood but I had dinner at Fulton's crab house and would HIGHLY recomend it. Nice adult atomsphere and good food and desserts.

I recommend Wolfgang Puck's UPSTAIRS dining room. The view of DTD and the Characters in Flight Balloon is great, menu is varied and tasty, and the atmosphere is so much more quieter and adult oriented than the zooey Wolfgang Puck Cafe downstairs.

I second Wolfgang Puck Upstairs, not to be confused with the Wolfgang Puck Cafe downstairs. Upstairs is fine dining and does not take the dining plan. It's much better than the cafe downstairs that is on the dining plan.

You have a babysitter? Go to Raglan Road and sit at the bar.

Best seat in DTD.

I would recommend Fulton's Crab House, but it's one of the locations where you would need to pay for out of pocket since they are not on the Dining Plan.

I would say house of blues or Raglan, both really nice imo and have eaten in them both many times!

I just want to comment on all of the Fultons Crab House suggestions. Fultons is good, but not the best choice IMO for an adult only dinner. It is a very loud restaurant, and while the food is pretty good, the service wasn't that great last time I was there, and the whole experience seemed very rushed and crazy. On the other hand, Wolfgang Puck Upstairs Dining Room has dim lighting, quiet atmosphere, very adult oriented. Its WDW so there will always be kids, but there are noticeably less here than other DTD restaurants. The whole dining room is very small and intimate. It sounds like you are having a "date night" for dinner and a movie without the kids, so if it were me, Wolfgang's upstairs would be my only choice to consider for a quiet nice dinner out, because Fulton's and everywhere else at DTD is a lot louder and more family focused.

I highly recommend Paradiso 37. It's fairly new and located on PI. DD and I checked it out last October and loved it and can't wait to go back during our trip next week. While it was enjoyable with my 11 yr old I kept thinking what a fun place to hang out as an "adult" (LOL!:thumbsup2), sitting outside on the porch, listening to music and sipping some really, really good margaritas!! And, the food is just as enjoyable!! This would be the place I'll go with DH when DD is old enough to hang out with her friends in the world.:thumbsup2

Yeah that is right a real live babysitter. My step son is 19 and lives in FL now. So he is getting 3 nights off from work. I'm going to get him his own room but were not 100% sure we are staying at POP. We are almost done paying for it so we are thinking of a upgrade to AKL.

Where can I find a menu for the upstairs WP?
The page for the restaurant on the official Disney World website also has a current menu.

I also recommend the upstairs dining room at Wolfgang Puck Cafe. Glad to see I'm not alone.

Since you have a babysitter and so a little freedom does it have to be DTD?
