Where to get the best steak for 1 DDP credit pp?

We have Yachtsman scheduled for several times during our upcoming trip & it really erodes our DDP TS credits.

Are there 1 credit spots for dinner with steaks as good & serving sizes at least the same or better? except LeCellier - can't get ressie.

One of the best steaks we ever got at WDW was at the coral reef.

I had a great steak at Tutto. The "Tagliata di Manzo".

I didn't know what it was so I asked. The server said steak (which I was in the mood for) and had it. A very good 1TS value.

The best steak my husband had this past trip was at the Grand Floridian Cafe..

New York Strip
House-mashed Potatoes, seasonal Vegetables and Bordelaise

First off- keep trying for LeCellier. While I don't think it's worth all of the hype, it's the best 1 credit steak we've had. It's no signature steak, but 1 credit is fair for the quality provided.

DH and I both really liked our steak at Mama Melrose. I also had a decent steak at Rose & Crown. I did not like Coral Reef's steak- lots of gristle. I have heard good things about the steak at Kona.

Le Cellier was the best steak we had while there 3 weeks ago. Yum ,Yum ,Yum.
The steak at Rose and Crown was wonderful also. It came with a piece of fish. Very tasty.

I have gotten a good steak at the following 1 credit restaurants

Kona Cafe (Teriyaki)
Whispering Canyon
Captain's Grille
Grand Floridian Cafe

Le Cellier is 2 TS now, I believe. It is or will become a signature.

Another vote for the Turf Club at Saratoga. The food and service are consistently good. Also the Wave had a good steak.

I can second this, had a nice steak there.

I also loved the Butcher Steak at the Sci-Fi Diner, but it is no longer on the menu since the change last week.

Le Cellier is 2 TS now, I believe. It is or will become a signature.

its been a 2 TS credit signature restaurant FOR DINNER ONLY since March. But lunch is still 1 TS credit. I personally do not think this place is worth 2 TS credits. If your curious about le cellier, do lunch.

Le Cellier at dinner is 2 credits. If you want to spend one credit there you will need to book lunch.

ditto - we've never had a bad one in many, many visits there. and the chocolate wave is just
turf club is also excellent - actually, everything we've ever had there was excellent (btw, we have been to lecellier a few times, and found their steak consistantly below average - tough and fairly tasteless).

Best steaks I've had for 1 TS credit were at Chefs de France, Captain's Grille and Kona Cafe. My son once had the steak at Coral Reef and it was full of gristle. But I guess that happens anywhere from time to time. I'm also pretty fond of the filet they serve with the family style dinner at Garden Grill. It was tender and full of flavor (and served nicely medium rare.)

I had the Rib Eye at Kona Cafe, and it was really, really good!! Ask for the jus on the side though, can overwhelm the steak, then pour it over the mashed potatoes, good stuff!!
