Not sure where to post this but was just wondering where I could find some charms for my Pandora bracelet while in WDW? I dont remember seeing them last time we went, but I wasn't really looking for them either.

We did buy the girls charm bracelets while we were there and every single one of them broke off before we even left! They were ridiculously cheap and poor quality. I would like find better ones for my bracelet while we are there.

WDW doesn't have official Pandora but they have cheap pandora style ones in the jewelry section of MouseGears in Epcot. They fit my pandora bracelet and look cute. They are anywhere between $3.95 to $20 for a set. They were on a spinning rack last I saw them.

You can also get official Chamillia beads at the jewelry store in MK, where they sell the nicer watches on main street. I got my mom a chamillia mickey charm there for $40. Real silver. They also fit the pandora bracelets.

Not sure if they are Pandora or Camilla Charms, but at MouseGears in the jewelery section in the glass case there are charms and glass beads.

Chamilia has the Disney contract for beads, but they will fit the Pandora bracelets. You can actually go to the Chamilia website and see the Disney ones they offer. I'm not sure though where to find them at Disney since it's been a few years since we've been back.

:cloud9::love: I think I'm going to need a bracelet for the other wrist now :rotfl:

Thanks everybody!

I boughtmy mom's Chamilia charm at the jewelry store on main street, where they sell the pricier watches. If you're walking towards the castle the store will be on your right.

:lmao: I hear you there! I have 2 Disney ones right now, but there are so many more that I want.

I know there is a Chamilia kiosk at one of the malls down in Orlando, but I'm not sure which one it is. It's not the ones with the outlets in them.

I also remember reading that there is a store in the Grand Floridian that sells these types of charms.

I'm going to subscribe to this, since my husband loves to buy these charms for me.

Just a heads up to everyone that not all of the Chamilia beads will fit a Pandora bracelet.

I wanted the "Dreams Really Do Come True" charm, but when I tried to try it on my Pandora bracelet (I have the silver bracelet with the special Pandora clasp), it wouldn't fit over the threading. I ended up getting a spacer type bead with Mickey heads carved into it instead, which fit my Pandora.

I think that most of the Chamilia beads would probably fit, but just bring your bracelet to try it on before you buy it!

Speaking from experience - bring your bracelet with you to try the charms on. We were there last Feb. and I went to the stores in Poly, GF, and Cont. - none of them fit my bracelet. I finally went to DD store and they actually had to scrape a little out of the inside to make it fit. They told me they were having problems with the new batch. But I just love my new Mickey charm.

Just bought the swirl head Mickey dangling charm and it fit. The sales lady at DTD said that 90% of the Chilmila charms will fit Pandora. They also have the bracelets and charms at HS.

So I'm still on the fence about whether or not I like Pandora bracelets...but here's a question:

Is it tacky to mix Pandora and Chamilia beads on a bracelet? Is that something you just don't do?

I love Pandora, and do not care for Chamilia bracelets at all. In fact, I returned my Chamilia bracelet back to MK as the clasps just aren't as good as Pandora, and it opened up with only 1 bead on it, so weight was not the issue, so I suggest you look at both and try them out.

It is not tacky to mix them, if you like the way it looks. Personally, I don't like many of the Disney charms as I am disappointed in the way they look, so make sure you look at them and even try them on your bracelet. Important to do this, as some of them don't fit, as mentioned above. Also, I highly encourage people not to purchase the Murano glass Mickey or Minnie beads, as they are of a lifted design, and so you knock the bead just with regular daily use, and parts of the design chip off, due to lifted nature of those beads. Very bad design!

The other thing is that Pandora has a warranty on their items, so within that time if you were to take your bracelet in for cleaning or maintenance, and you had non-Pandora beads on it, you will then void your warranty.

I'm surprised to hear this...I have the mickey and minnie heads, the glass mickey and minnie, the castle, daisy duck head, the eiffel tower which is part of the its a small world collection and a few more...They have all fit on my pandora bracelet. The combo mickey and minnie have to be screwed on very carefully but I did get it on....Hum, Guess I've found a reason to buy the Chamilia bracelet and fill it with just Disney beads and then I can restart my Pandora Bracelet with Pandora Beads....:goodvibes

That's so weird. I have the same bracelet and that same bead and I didn't have any problems with mine. I wonder if that particular bead was just "off" or if they're changing the sizing for some reason.

At any rate, I have 10 or so Chamilia beads on my Pandora bracelet and have never once had an issue. They sell the beads at World of Disney, in the large gift shop on Main Street in Magic Kingdom, and in MouseGears in Epcot. The only complaint I have about buying them at Disney is they don't get in the new ones for several months. Maybe that's changed since wintertime, but if you're looking for one of the newer styles, like Small World, they may not have them....

I too have a Pandora bracelet and have a few Chamillia beads on it. I have had no problems. I bought a Mickey head when we were there last time. That being said I really prefer Pandora but wanted a souvenir from our trip:thumbsup2

I got the Dreams Come True bead and the Mickey head at DHS and they would not fit on my Pandora bracelet. I brought them to World of Disney and changed them out there and those ones worked.

IMHO I do not think it is tacky unless you are a charm snob which is what Pandora and all the other branded names hope for. I for one have a Kit Heath Beachcomer bracelet which has totally different type beads than Pandora or Chamila. They are very hard to get in the states and I just happened upon them in a little store in ME. The bead prices are higher than Pandora but they are much more distinctive. It would be hard to mix these BUT if I saw a charm that I liked not Kit Heath I would not hesitate to put them on my bracelet Kit Heath are mostly oval in shape but the dangling ones will fit any bracelet.
After doing research guess what? The charms at Kohls are made by PANDORA! The price is about 1/3 of the Pandora price so I say do what you want and don't fall into the brand trap and limit yourself.

LOL, I saw this thread pop up and didn't realize it was an oldie! I ended up getting a pandora bracelet for my birthday last August, and I have mixed and matched pandora charms, chamila charms, Kohls, and others that people have given me.
Also, I have the "dreams really do come true" from Disney, and it fits fine on my bracelet.
