Where To Get Discounted Park Tickets?

Not sure if this belongs on the budget board or here, but I'm sticking it here since I’m thinking it gets a little more traffic than the budget board does.

Anyway, here's the situation. My DW will be the matron of honor in a wedding in February of next year. The happy couple is going to WDW for their honeymoon, and since that is where we went on ours they are looking for some advice. Basically, the bride-to-be is wondering where to get cheap/discounted park tickets. Her mom has a time share a mile from WDW, so the couple will be staying there for free. (So obviously, they will not be staying on site.) My DW and I stayed onsite and did the simple resort/ticket package when we went, so we did not have to worry about getting tickets separately.

Any help or advice you can give me would be much appreciated!

Well I will tell you that "discount" tickets are not that discounted. Disney will sell blocks of tickets to certain company's and then they will pass the savings on to the buyer, but the savings may only be a few $ in the long run. I would go on Mousesavers.com to see what discount places they are using . I used their suggestion last year and saved about $40-50 for a family of 4 for a week. (as you can see not a hugh discount, but saved enough for a couple of ice cream cones :) Another place to look is a local credit union or AAA. In the long run Disney really does not need to give the tickets out for a discount because they know people will buy them no matter what.

I just got mine today from Ticketmania. I was very happy with them. Great communication on their part and very fast shipping. The prices for tickets shown on their sites are with the tax included. Ours cost $246 from Ticketmania, and would have been more than $260 at the gate. AAA was pretty much the same price as at the gate. That is about $17 in savings per ticket. Right now they also have free shipping.

Undercover Tourist is also often recommended and is the one suggested by Mousesavers.
