Where to get a "cool" lunch at Animal Kingdom?`

Hi all -

Where is the best place to get lunch at Animal Kingdom, table service or otherwise, where you can cool off in a/c? We have a dinner res at Rainforest Cafe already so don't want to go there but anything else is fine.

Yak & Yeti (Tables ervice). We have eaten lunch there a couple of times.
There is also Tusker House. We have not eaten lunch there, but we had a good breakfast there. Both places are indoors.

QS, try Satul'i Canteen

Our favorite is to simply go to Nomad Lounge and order off their small plates menu (the Tiffins menu is also available).

Nomad Lounge. Small bites or full plates (from the Tiffin's menu). It's our new favorite spot.

DO you want the best food? Either one of these two. Lots of seating inside Satu'li Canteen, and we have never had issues with Nomad seating either.
Tusker House is good, but more expensive as it is a character meal.

The main reason why I always choose Pizzafari for lunch is the air conditioning, not for any great food. If you really want to feel cold, hopefully they still sell the frozen Minute Maid lemonade. There's nothing like sitting in the air conditioning eating a frozen lemonade at AK.

We always eat at Nomad Lounge because the small plates are perfect for us.

Another vote for Nomad Lounge. No reservation needed. Cool atmosphere (literally and figuratively). Small plates. Creative cocktails.

Same here! Satuli Canteen is definitely the best QS on wdw property hands down. It was actually better than some of the TS restaurants ive tried too! So fresh, healthy, and delicious. its nicely air conditioned so you'll be very cool inside.

Yet another vote for Satu'li Canteen and I agree with the other posters that this is the best counter service in WDW. Besides incredible food it has great atmosphere and is a great place to get out of the heat.

We usually just do restaurantsaurus cause we always do tusker house. Restaurantsaurus is “safe” food and very comfortable

Tusker house is a great character buffet TS. Satuli is definitely one of the better QS locations on property and it happens to have indoor seating - the bowls that you can create are very good and you can pretty much make it just how you want. The blueberry dessert, although a little different looking was amazing.

Honestly, you have a point. It would be hard to choose between both SC and WGPE. They're both REALLY good. The plus side to WGPE is that they have a bigger variety. They've always been my go-to when im at Dis.Springs. And the plus to SC is that its just different. Something more unique. I consider their options a bit healthier than WGPE I think.
