I am in search of jeans for a super skinny girl. 5' 2", with a 23" waist and 25" hips. Way tiny!

Anyhow, anyone know where to find some and most importantly, at a good price? She's still growing, so I don't want to break the bank, but need to find jeans that will at least stay up on her.

Try Aero - we just purchased Jeans for 9.99 a piece. Or try PacSun - those were 14.99 a pair - they had 00 & 0 sizes. My DD12 purchased 0 - 00 was too tight. Talk about skinny-she has chicken legs in these jeans - my fingers could go around part of her leg. My DD who is 16 couldn't fit in the size 1 in PacSun. We don't go above the 14.99 for jeans unless my Mother purchases the pants for my kids. Try the kids sizes at JCPenny. My DD16 can fit in the girls size 16 pants. I used to have these problems. I was 19 and could fit into a girls size 12 Jean way back in the day. Sometimes they are cheaper if on sale.

Definitely try Aeropostale. They have size 00 which should fit. My friend buys her daughter's jeans there and she is about the same size that you need. You can usually find them on sale or clearance too.

I have a super skinny girl too! She certainly doesn't get that from me!! We tell her she can do magic because when she turns sideways she disappears! She is 14 and can pack away food like her 15 year old brother. She loves nothing more than a good buffet! We too have trouble finding her pants that fit both her long legs and her tiny waist at the same time!

Definately PacSun. My DD is the same way and can find jeans there. They have that super super skinny cut. good luck!

Forever 21 has extremely tiny clothes!! They have $12 jeans (skinny jeans) which we have bought. My DD is only 13 so most of the other clothes aren't really appropriate for her yet though.

Sounds just like my daughter. I got her a couple of pairs from Aeropostale ($9.99). Make sure to have your DD try them on first because of the different cuts. Also, at Aero, if you bring in a pair of old jeans (any brand) you'll get 25% off a pair of new jeans.

Also, believe it or not, --- and I don't know if your daughter will go for this --- but try Children's Place. They have some really nice skinny jeans and regular flares, pre-washed, etc and they're usually 2 fore $25 and you can get the 15% off coupon. Another great point is that they have the adjustable waist (which my skinny girl needs!). I was hesitant in buying them for my daughter because I was worried she would think they are "for little kids" but she loves hte ones I got her (skinny sparkly jeans and a pair of pre-washed) and you don't even know they're from CP.

Good lucK!

My super skinny kid ordered 00s from American Eagle. They don't have them in the store, but in the store they can put the order in and have it sent to the house for no shipping.

Abercrombie also had jeans that fit well when she was shorter.

I second Aero. Before my DD filled out and was wearing 0's this was the only place we could find them for a reasonable price. Usually these sizes are still around when things go on clearance too so we could walk out with a ton of stuff for little $.

More like where can you not find jeans for skinny young things. When I shop for jeans that is all they have. Can you belive how many size "0"'s they have. When I was young I wore a size 5 and that was considered way small back then.

When you get to larger womans sizes there are almost no choices. :confused3

My neice was wearing 14slim in girls, and I found some nice ones at Limited Too (now called Justice) and JC Penney, and also on Ebay. You also might want to consider Old Navy, I think they have a "long and lean" or something like that in their specialty cuts. Also check Delias online, they have several "super skinny" cuts and a lot of them are on sale for $14.99 right now and the small sizes seem to have plenty of availability left.

My dd is now about that size. When she was a little younger, I bought slims from JCPenney, and then had to take them in!

I get her jeans (and most of her other casual clothes) at Aero. She takes a 00. They also have longs and shorts. They have great sales and I usually manage to get them for $9.00. Sign up for their emails and look at their clearance racks. I thought I was going to hate Aero because I don't like paying to have my kids advertising for a company, but their stuff is reasonably priced and well made.

small and large sizes generally seem to be the ones left over for clearnce. So it shouldn't be hard to find them cheap.

I was never that tiny, i went from chunky kid in 9th grade to size 3 in 10th and stayed like that for 6years or so. Now if only i can figure out how to eat like i used to, and still have that body.

My daughter (13) is super skinny as well. She's 5'6 and weighs 95 pounds fully clothed with Ugg boots on, per the doctor scale on Friday. The jeans that fit her best are Hollister's however they can be kind of pricey especially for a kid that's still growing. She does have some Aeropostale jeans which are more reasonably priced but the Hollister jeans seem to fit better. Usually they are $50 a pair but right after Christmas they were on sale for $25.

I think most places that carry children or junior sizes have at least one version of skinny jeans in store now, most have multiple choices. It's just a matter of finding the brand, cut, and price that works best for her, and for you.

It used to be much more difficult years ago. I think we had to special order slims just about everywhere except LTD2.

Abercrombie also had jeans that fit well when she was shorter.

My DD's favorite jeans are AF too, but I didn't think they'd work too well given the OP's qualification below:

Anyhow, anyone know where to find some and most importantly, at a good price?

Good Luck with your search OP. Hopefully once you find the perfect jeans, she'll stop growing long enough to get some good use out of them before you have to start all over again. ;)

I'll add to the PacSun votes. I get my dd 00's there. Before Christmas I got her a pair for $4.99:thumbsup2

Hollister has the skinniest/tightest jeans, but they are pricey. We stocked up the day after Christmas when they were half off.

My DD (13) would never admit she has pants from Wal-mart, but believe it or not, she and her friends who have outgrown their Miley Cyrus days, fell in love with the corduroys from her clothing line at Wal-mart. They were $9 a pair and were super skinny. DD had to go up to a size 3 when she really wears a size 1 because they fit so tight.

Thanks for all of the great help-I knew you guys would pull through!:thumbsup2

I will try Aero, Hollister and Pacsun, hoping for a sale. Unfortunately with her long legs she no longer fits into 14slims and for whatever reason, everywhere that sells a 16slim thinks that they all would have filled out by the time they move up to that size.

We've tried Justice, Old Navy, etc. but the 16slims and even size 0 are way too wide in the waist and hips.

To the PP who mentioned her daughter's disappearing magic trick, that is too funny, because we too have told our daughter the same thing. In fact, when playing soccer, we told her if she wants to sneak up on someone, just turn sideways and they will never see you coming :)

Thanks again everyone!

I forgot to mention that a friend of mine who has a slim, tall daughter has had good luck with a brand of jeans from Macy's. Sorry, I don't know the brand or the price, but if you're at the mall you might want to take a peek in the junior clothes.
