Where to find Buzz Lightyear in the parks?

My DS (20 months) is absolutely obsessed with Buzz Lightyear. We were at a Halloween party last week where there were several Buzz Lightyears and he kept trying to follow them around while pointing and saying, "Buzz" every 5 seconds. I think it would be a big treat for him to see the big Buzz Lightyear. We will be going to WDW next week.

Where and when is the best place to find him? Thanks.

I understand- DS3 has been obsessed with Buzz for about a year and a half. You can find him at MGM at Al's Toy Barn- it's kinda hidden though. You go past Muppets around the corner- maybe someone else here can give beter directions. He is usually there with Woody and Jesse. We also saw him last year in the pavillion between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland- by the teacups. We saw him here the two mornings we were at MK.
Good luck! Just ask a castmember if you are having a hard time finding him.

We met Buzz (and got his autograph) in Tomorrowland. Specifically, he was stationed between the entrance to TimeKeeper and the Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin attraction.

We saw Buzz, Woody and Jesse in MGM right past Planet Pizza. (Next to where the Hunchback show was) I also saw Buzz in Magic Kingdom across from the Buzz lightyear ride. I hope this helps.

You have three places to find Buzz but you need to check the Times Guides -- Each of the 4 main parks provide Times Guides that include character greeting times and locations.

Thank you all so much! I am so excited for my DS. He carries a small Buzz figure everywhere he goes (I'm kind of nervous he's going to lose it). He sleeps clutching his blanket and his Buzz.

Thanks GaTech for the tip about the Times Guide--I probably wouldn't have picked one up otherwise.

The MGM Buzz is at Al's Toy Barn (with Woody) at the designated time listed in the park's daily schedule. At MK, it seems like Buzz comes and goes quite a bit. We saw him behind the Buzz ride right when we were going on, but decided to wait until we were done as we had a fast pass. Unfortunately, Buzz had to go get his batteries changed by the time we got done with our ride So if you see Buzz at MK, don't wait. You never know how long he will be there.

You can take your little on on the Buzz ride though he really won't be able "play." Our 2 year old also enjoyed sitting outside Pizza Planet with all the giant Toy Story statues.
