I was wondering where folks find a good cup of coffee at WDW. Most places that I have tried the coffee has been average at best. Am I missing a spot for good coffee??

Good luck! Hate the nescafe stuff. I resort to lattes in the parks (love the one in italy, MK bakery is ok, AK kusafari also) and hit dunkin donuts in DTD area a couple of times to get my fix. Last trip I brought my keurig and pods(we are dvc members and drive) to get a decent morning cup or evening one.

Kona Cafe has some good coffee. The first time I went, they put a pot on the table and it was delicious. It was a black plastic pot, generic and certainly not a "press pot". The second time we went the waitress offered a press pot, we declined and she poured us some bad coffee.

So, I don't know if on the first visit I actually had pressed pot coffee and it just wasn't in a press pot, and the second time I got the WDW usual.

You'd think with all the coffee drinkers that visit WDW they'd really want to serve a good cup. But then we might linger around, less time in the parks spending $$.

Second that.....
I bring my fresh coffee beans- Peet's Major Dickason's Blend and that's all I use. I bring sugar packets and filters from home and pick up some half and half from the store. Nescafe' is last resort only....

in your villa. That's the only good cup of coffee I've had at WDW.

The press pot at Kona Cafe is the bast as far as I know

Yeah... Kona Cafe. Or Victoria and Albert's (but if you're going there just for coffee....)

Hit the supermarket and buy a bag of your favorite brand, and make it in the room.

And there's now a Starbucks on 535 down from the Crossroads. But geez, they close early!!! 10PM!!!

The pressed pot at Boma is amazing. It is Kenyan coffee and it is awesome. And also to echo the post of others, the pressed pot of 100% Kona at Kona Cafe is a must for all coffee lovers.

I always bring my coffee to have in the villa. But I've had decent coffee at Ghiradelli's at DTD Marketplace.:thumbsup2

Last year I had a decent cup of coffee at a stand in Epcot. I think it was near the Universe of Energy. Other than that, the coffee that I have tried at WDW pretty much stinks.

There are a few stands here and there run by an external vendor. If I recall correctly, they don't take the dining plan (or maybe the room charge---something like that). So, if you find a stand that doesn't take all the standard forms of Disney payment, you're in the right place!

It's still not great coffee, but it's better than nescafe.

You can go to the Kona coffee bar in the mornings and get a cup of Kona coffee without having to go to the actual restaurant. If you are on the Dining Plan, you can use snack credits for them too :thumbsup2

I never have found amazing coffee really anywhere, BUT that said, I have never had a horrible cup either.

some that was really better than others- the coffee kiosk at the entrance to World Showcase is pretty good, bakery in France is pretty good, kiosk at entrance to AK is pretty good too.

I still say no one makes it like my hubby! But I am biased!

We do not drink coffee but make our own lattes. I am still trying to figure out the best espresso maker and milk frother to bring with us. Since we drive it is not a big deal to bring something. But on the other hand I am not dragging our daily large espresso machine. On our last trip I ended up just having a coffee/hot chocolate/milk combination which was not too bad.

I bring my own DD for the villa to get my morning fix. But.....AKL has great kenyan coffee and Kona's also gets my vote.

If it's possible for you to get into SOG, they have a Starbucks kiosk inside the main building. . .thank god for being retired AF! :thumbsup2

Thanks, heathers4um :goodvibes:goodvibes I printed the page from the link and will at it to my Disney file of info.:cool1:
I see I'm not the only one in search of a good brew. Thanks to all for your help.:goodvibes
