I've never found anything right around the WTC either. This isn't too far, you could take a cab.

Becco NYC is great and is co-owned by Lidia Bastian......something. (She owns our favorite but expensive Felidia) Becco is a great less expensive place right in the heart of the city.

we ate there-great!

Get the pasta special-$20 lunch $28 dinner(something like that)-it comes with a salad or antipasta(Recommed!) and unlimited servings of the 3 pastas of the day-and they are spectacular-not like boring spagetti!!!

We loved our meal at GhallaghersSteak hous on 52nd street. We also showed out tickets and were given a free bottle of wine with dinner. On this visit my DH had released his inner spender adn we had had dinner the night before at DelFriscos but Ghallaghers beat that meal hands down. WE did not think it was that high for the meal and service and location.

Bobby Flay's restuarant Bar Americain is amazing & close to times square

Becco & Five Napkin Burger are good choices too

Cheaper than I thought- $17.95 for Lunch & $22.95 at Dinner for the Pasta special-great prices for the Theater/Times square area, BTW.





Last trip we ate at a non-descript deli and our (just so-so)sandwiches were $20!!!!Very disappointed

How about Katz's Deli...it's down at the Lower East Side. Best Pastrami I have ever had!
