We'll be staying at Loews Royal Pacific the night before heading to Universal for the day - me, DH, DS4 and DS7. Any recommendations on where to eat either at CityWalk or in our hotel? Because of the kids we're not looking for something super fancy (unless it's just a "can't miss"), but we want something more than quick and casual. Thanks for any suggestions!

Margaritaville is lots of fun for little kids and the food is really good too.

Oh definitely City Walk - Pasteria (I think that is the name) is just great! Emeril's is good too but prefer the pasta place. Right in the middle of City Walk.

Going to add the Hard Rock Cafe to the list of suggestions. The food is of a good quality pub type with something for everyone, and the rock & roll memorabilia on display is outstanding.

A third vote for Margaritaville. We like the Nascar Cafe too.

Any info on Pat O'Briens? We are thinking of going there one night for dinner. My parents will be with us and I thought it would be fun since they went to the original Pat O'Briens in New Orleans when they were on their honeymoon 43 years ago. Also we will be there on their anniversary Nov. 4th.:thumbsup2

The last time I ate there the poboys were awesome. It was the noyl place I could find them in Orlando when I lived there.

O'Brians is our favorite. Poboys are great, as is the redfish dinner, the burgers, mufelletta and the crawfish etouffee nachos. We go early (6 - 7 p.m.) and ask to be seated outside in the back if it's not raining. It's quiet and romantic, too.

Take a look at Choup Choup located right in the resort. If the menu suits your fancy it might be a good option for you as it is not super pricey or formal. The food is quite good and the atmosphere is very nice.

Tchoup Chop or Emeril's. The latter being more expensive, but both places will accommodate well behaved children.

When we go, have to go to Hard Rock, Bubba Gump and Margarittaville (in that order)
