where to eat before illuminations cruise?

Any tips on where to eat close to point you catch the cruise? Heard of the flying fish but cant find menu on the site is it here? or the sports cafe is that close by? Help firstimer!!!

The one time we did an Illuminations Cruise, we had dinner at Yachtsman's Steakhouse.

Allears.net has a great list of menus. ESPN and Flying Fish are both near the Boardwalk dock. Yachtsman's is by the Yacht and Beach Club. Which dock are you leaving from? The last I knew, the cruise would pick you up at either.

Before our Christmas Day Illuminations Cruise we ate at the Cape May Cafe which worked out great (I'm one of the folks who put the Cape May in the 'best buffet @ WDW' bracket) and the nice thing about buffets is you have a lot more control about knowing how long it will take you to eat rather than at table service where you are at the mercy of the kitchen and servers.

Flying Fish is an excellent choice for seafood. For steak, I have heard good things about the Yachtsman Steakhouse. These are pricey. Form more moderate prices there is Spoodles, ESPN, RiverCity Brewery. Of the three I like Spoodles best. For super pricey there is Don Shula's Steakhouse and BlueZoo
