We (me, DH, DD(17), DS(6)) will come out of DisneyQuest at about 3pm (arriving at 11:30am).

Given the environment we will be coming out of...I'm trying to decide if we should go to McDonald's or a nice quiet relaxing DTD restaurant?

At 3pm, this will be considered an Early Dinner.

What do you think?

If it were us...we would hit...

EARL of SANDWICH!!

Oh my gosh...that place is SO good and you won't regret it. It is on the opposite side of DTD that you will be on...but not hard to get to. Plus at the time you will be dining...it won't be nearly as crowded.

It gets SUPER GREAT reviews!! CHECK IT OUT!!!

Have a great trip!!

When it comes to food at WDW, I'm a snob. :snooty:

I won't eat McDonalds food while at WDW because I can get that anytime at home.

If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, please try Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express. The food at those places is WAY better than McDonalds. Or, since it'll be so early, perhaps go to one of the resorts and have a dinner at one of the resort restaurants. It sounds like you'd have plenty of time to get to a resort for an early dinner if you'll be finished with DTD at 3:00.

It would be a great time to go to T-Rex for your son. My nephews loved it. Its right there at DTD and its like the Rainforest only with Dino's.:thumbsup2

we also like Wolfgang Puck Express - not to be confused withteh Wolfgang Puch Table service place that is close to Disney Quest. The EXpress place is down the opposite end of DTD - but not that far past McDonald's. After that, you can get ice cream at Ghiradelli's if you still have room.

Then again, there are also some great Table service places at DTD too. I haven't actually tied the food at the new dinosaur place, T-Rex, but the atmosphere is WAAY unique. It's owned bythe same company that does Rainforest CAfe. RFC doesn't have teh best food - and they do have some off disney locations - but not so many. the atmosphere is really uinque if you've never been.

Beyond that Hous of Blues is neat if you like Southern. We had good food at Bongos. It's Cuban food, so it could be a little exotic for some tastes. Very good cocktails though! Those are the places that stand out the most to us.

You could also take the short boat ride to SSR or POR/POFQ. The flatbread pizza at SSR is pretty good, if the place is pretty casual. The boat ride over is relaxing.

Bongos, Fulton's Crab House, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, House of Blues... some of my favorites

Bongo's Cuban Cafe
. . . frequently overlooked
. . . good Cuban and Cub an-insprired food

We like going to Wolfgang Puck, it's our favorite. This year we are also trying Raglan Road, the menu looks amazing!:thumbsup2

I've moved this thread to the Restaurants board. :)

...and I merged it into the existing question on the restaurant board, so you have all of your answers in one place. Hope it's easier for you to follow :goodvibes
