Where to dine in or around Epcot?

My Family is visiting Disney World the week of Thanksgiving and I have my heart set on going to Epcot the Friday after Thanksgiving. I have not decided where to make my dining reservation for this day. But, I have given some thought to not making a reservation and venturing out to the Beach Club Resort just outside of Epcot to Beaches and Cream (would like to try the sundaes and shakes). However, B & C does not accept reservations. I was wondering how long the wait typically is around lunch (11 to 12:00 pm)?. Also, what are your favorite Epcot restaurants? - I am traveling with some very finicky eaters. Thanks in advance for any advice, suggestions, or opinions.

I think if you get to Beaches and Cream on the early side of 'lunch" (more towards 11 than 12) you won't have that much of a wait. If you are leaving Epcot and have picky eaters - perhaps consider ESPN Zone or Big River Grill at Boardwalk - both have standard "american" fare (if that is what you are looking for).

Keep in mind that many of the restaurants only appear exotic...Tutto Italia is obviously Italian food and not that big of a stretch for most people. Rose and Crown has a lot of straightforward food too. Le Cellier at Canada is a steakhouse; that's certainly pretty well known eatin'. The Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion in Future World is very Americana.

So think you'll do fine, but I'm presupposin' you are wanting food that's easy to figure out.
