On our way to the beach we are stopping for 2 nights at POR where we will enjoy the resort and Disney Springs (no park time). My youngest daughter is turning 5 on our arrival day (July 22nd) and I am wondering where we should eat to celebrate. Ideally I don't want to book an ADR because of possible delays on our way down (we are driving straight-thru from Montreal, QC so a 27h drive).
I currently have a reservation at Raglan Road on Open Table that I can easily cancel the day off if I see we are late. I also have a Homecomin' ADR for the next day since she LOVES mac and cheese!
I am wondering if I should cancel Raglan Road and eat at Splitville instead?!? My DD loves bowling and it was her birthday venue until she decided that she wanted to go to a hotel with a waterslide (POR) instead of a birthday party with friends. But how hard is it to get a table and bowling alley at Splitville a Saturday around 6pm?
Another option would be to eat QS (WPE or Polite Pig) and then get dessert at Amorette...
What would you do to celebrate a 5th birthday at Disney Springs?
BTW, we have no interest going to another resort, to Rainforest, T-rex and La Poutinerie (we are French Canadian and poutine is our national dish).
Thank you for your help!
