Where to buy WDW tickets? DVC Discount?

We'll be in WDW one trip next year, so an AP probably doesn't make sense. Can you get WDW tickets with Park Hopper with a DVC discount? If so, where is the best place to buy? Should you buy before you leave for your trip, or buy on property.

Currently, the only DVC ticket discount is on the annual pass. You can purchase it ahead of time (there's a link on the member web site) or at WDW. There are no discounts on other types of tickets.
