Where to buy tickets? Promise not a stupid question!

Ok - so instead of going w/ a package deal we decided to buy our stuff seperate. I reserved the hotel...now I need our tickets & I'd like to reserve a character meal & Blue Bayou too.

So online the 3 day park hoppers were $169 & $139 (adult/child).

At the Desert Inn they were $164 & $134

& at the Disney store they were $159 & $129.

I know Safeway (Vons) sells them too...

So what is the best place? Have I missed a secret place that is even better than the Disney store?

And the character meal? What is the best place to reserve a character meal that is NOT at the DLH or GCH? It's a long walk for us to go that way so I was looking for the best one for our feet. No Princesses please - DS AND DD are not into them.

If you don't want DLH or GCH, then you need to do PP for Lilo and Stich (which I have heard is very good), or in DL at Plaza Inn for Minnie and Friends... which are both just breakfast. Probably no princesses, they should all be over at Ariel's which has breakfast, lunch and dinner...

I always buy them online (disneyland.com). They send a 20% off merchandise coupon with them, that I LOVE! LOL

I would just call Disney Dining and make the reservations separately as well.

getawaytoday.com has a great deal on tickets! You don't have to buy the package with hotel to get them. You can click on the link at the top for attraction tickets. They are also offering TWO early entries with their 3 day and more park hopper tickets.

Well, there is always shortcuts to DLH (Monorail) and GCH (Private GCH<--> DCA Gate).

PP is just a short work from Monorail as well... so technically, you can cut your walk by quite a bit.
