Where to buy tickets for other things than parks

Sorry that the title is rubbish, but i am wondering...

I know that it works out cheaper to buy the park tickets over here for us, but what do you guys do about other tickets such as Blue man group/La nouba and the dinner shows etc???

I was wondering, sometimes you get a welcome meeting when you go on holiday (never been to one in Orlando so not sure if it is the same) where they try and sell you various excursions etc and if you buy so many you can get then at a discount.

Are there any places like that, or tickets brokers that sell good value tickets? Or are they still cheaper to buy over here via internet?

we bought our blue man tickets from their ticket booth, got a discount as i had a student card at the time. you can also get them from the website, not seen any offers anywhere else for them
for dinner shows, again look on their websites for discount prices, or get loads of those voucher booklets in orlando as they have vouchers for 10% off etc
la nouba again their website or at the ticket booth in dtd, sometimes there maybe discounts on travelzoo but very few and far between
I wouldn't bother wasting time on your holiday going to welcome meetings

Not been to a welcome meeting for years, their tix used to be expensive, they knew if you hadn't bought when you arrived you would pay higher prices, I doubt they have changed.

We got Universal AP discount for BMG, 10% off.
La Nouba we got Travelzoo disc last time we saw it, not seen any offers recently.

We pre-ordered BMG from Travel Republic. We were in the front rows behind the splash zone.
I think we were about £35/person for the tickets.
