Where to buy little rocks like in the boneyard?

Does anyone know if you can purchase the little rocks like they have in the boneyard dig area at AK? My DD4 and DS4 love to dig in them and I would love to have them in the sandbox at home instead of real sand.

According to CM's at the Boneyard, the little pebble stuff is called Texas Grit. They were unable to tell me where it comes from ... but my DS adores the stuff, too. I laugh b/c I swear, with every trip we've taken and all the grit that's ended up in pockets, we could have filled a sandbox if we had bothered to save it!

Good luck finding it ... maybe you can do an on-line search for the stuff!

We were told it was pea gravel- that is what we were able to find near us. It comes in various sizes and cleanliness levels.
