Where to buy Liquor?

We are staying off-site at the Sheraton Vistana Resort and plan on going out to get groceries and beer/liquor the next day after we arrive. Where is the best place to go???? We planned on doing Walmarts for food, but not sure if they sell alcohol? Anyone know of cheapest place to go. Thanks.

Crazy question too.....if you have an adult beverage in a coozie, can you walk around say the Disney resorts with them???/

Walmart and other grocery stores do sell beer and some alcoholic beverages. There is a SuperWalmart on Rte. 535, east of WDW.

I am not sure about the resorts, but you can't take alcohol into the MK for sure.

You can't carry in any alcohol to any Disney park, whether they serve it inside the park or not. (We checked )

Vistana Resort is off SR 535 (Vineland Ave). If you out of the resort and turn right onto Vineland you'll go about 2 miles to the nearest Super WalMart store (it's on the right) where they'll have food and beer available. I think that the closest store for liquor is the Publix that's about another mile beyond that WalMart store. That Publix is at the end of Vineland, where you can turn onto SR 192, and is in a shopping center on the left (there's a left turn lane that goes into the shopping center from the side just before the intersection with SR 192). I have no idea how that store is for relative pricing.

You should by liquor before getting to the area, cuz alcohol in Orlando is EXPENSIVE! & You can always sneak in some stuff. I have before, I put it in a water bottle: captain & coke, the CMs were non the wiser

The Super WalMart on 535 has a full liquor store, actually. Separate entrance, limited selection, but good prices.

For a better selection and also decent prices, try the Walgreens in the opposite direction on 535, couple blocks from Vistana.

For the best liquor store in the area, head a block past Palm Parkway on 535 to the ABC.

Whatever you do, avoid Goodings in Crossroads, insanely overpriced.

That's the one I use---the Winn Dixie right next to it is halfway decent as well.
