Where to buy Disposable Rain Ponchos….

Leaving for Orlando in a few weeks and have been looking to buy disposable rain ponchos in the GTA.
Amazon has multi packs for $17, but I won’t be needing that many. 2 to 4 ponchos will be enough.
Anyone know where I can buy them? I’ve tried Dollarama and Dollar Tree, but no luck there.

Target, Walmart have them - any other discount stores in your area?
Supermarkets will have them too - usually where the umbrella stand is. This might have changed though.

Check the camping section at Walmart....other than that no idea. Maybe Canadian Tire??? In all honesty, the ones from the dollar store are literally like a piece of saran wrap and not that helpful.

If you can wait until you get to FL and can get to a store there you will find them everywhere.....grocery stores, corner variety stores, the tourist souvie shops etc. I've bought nice reusable ones from Walmart in FL for only $4. They have options from $3 up to over $10.

I buy ours from the Dollarama. Which reminds me that I should buy a few more for our upcoming trip. I only have four left in my stash.

We got ours at Dollarama...but don't get the cheapest ones that look like a thin ziplock bag. Get the coloured ones. They are a bit thicker, and we were able to use them all week, and then toss them when done.

You mean the clear ones? Those are the ones I buy, just because they are clear and not as heavy. Plastic + heat = sweat LOL And I am short and pretty much go to my ankles LOL

Yes. We had one of these. Clear and it was very compact in a 4x6 package. The other ones that were colours were more like 10x16 package (trying to visualize comparing to photo sizes). DH wore the clear one and it didn't give him as much coverage vs the rest of ours. Not sure if these are the exact same as the ones you tried or maybe you had a better experience (he's really tall). We went in August in major heat, but I found after the rain, I was actually cold for a bit.

I couldn’t find them in Dollarama. What aisle are they in?
I have really good ones from Disney (1997 haha probably collectibles now) that are a bit bulky and I don’t want to have to carry them around.
It’s well past rainy season mid November, so I’m not too worried about it. Just want to have a couple of compact ones in my backpack in case.

Let me know what you think if you do. It's bigger packaging but at least it's still flat so easy to pack.

I couldn’t find them in Dollarama. What aisle are they in?

Also look near the travel sz toiletries and also the socks and gloves area. They find the strangest places to stock them. I also just take the cheapie $2 folded clear ones because so easy to carry. I can usually get 2 or 3 wears out of them. While I can never get them folded back down into the tiny bag, I dry them in the shower overnight and the next rainy morning can get another wear out of them. Although I agree with PPs that if over 6 ft, you will struggle to have any coverage mid thigh down.

Check as many Dollaramas as you can, sometimes some locations might be out of stock. The disposable rain ponchos are in usually in the aisle with clothing such as socks, hats, etc. Also check the travel/toiletry aisle. We always get the thin clear plastic ones and toss them out after each use.

I bought ours in Canadian Tire earlier this year for our Feb Florida trip. Check in the outdoor/camping section.
