Where to buy comfy princess dresses?

Where have you bought comfy princess dresses for your kiddos to wear in the park? I'm thinking the twirl-style princess dress (nothing scratchy) ideally with short sleeves to avoid sunburns.

Here's a few I found, any experiences with either of these?

Also, do not order from Skylar & Sage! They have cute dresses and their website looks legitimate, but I'm pretty sure they're a scam. It's been two months since I ordered dresses, but they never sent them and aren't responding to my emails!

Little Adventures. Between two growing little girls I must have bought 30 dresses from them. My girls have worn them in the parks and were always comfortable, and at home they have no problem putting them on themselves. Little Adventures has sales about twice a year and I buy a few each time. They also often have at least one dress on sale at a time.

Good to know these are comfortable and hold up well! Do you happen to know when they generally hold sales? Our trip is not planned until July so I have some time to wait for a sale if it might be coming up soon!

I think maybe Dec/Jan and May? I tried looking through my old emails. As I said they also usually have a featured dress that’s on sale each week. I have bought dresses as Christmas presents during the summer so I think there may be a sale then too.

I search on the type of princess or style of dress and then read reviews of the shops that pop up.

Sometimes they "close to catch up on orders" so I go with what is available and based on price and reviews.
I have ordered from 4 different shops so far.

I just discovered Etsy last year when a dress my granddaughter wanted was not available on shopdisney.

Some of the shopdisney dresses were worn about 10 minutes before the itching/scratching complaints started.

They also have cute little dresses for everyday with the princesses on the fabric that are a huge hit with my 4 year old granddaughter.

Thank you all for the ideas and input!!

We settled on Only Little Once (my older daughter prefers their Snow White design to the other companies). I wish some of these companies (eg, Little Adventures) had options for twirl dresses with sleeves, they had really cute designs that looked well-made, but almost all of their twirl dress patterns were sleeveless. I hope they think about adding short sleeve versions in the future, it seems like I can't be the only parent concerned about shoulder sunburns in my littles!

Only Little Once was quite a bit more expensive than some of the other options, but I guess the extra $20 is worth it to prevent shoulder sunburns on vacation!

If you are on FB, they have BST groups where you can resell the dress. Only little once resells pretty well.

Any experiences with Presley Couture? I wish more of the twirl dresses had sleeves, but it looks like a few do (including Rapunzel, which one of my girls is interested in). The other wants Snow White.

I don't have a twirl one but I bought my girls the sundresses for our May trip. My daughter complained immediately when trying on that the Rapunzel dress was itchy. I also think the sizing was small.

We've also bought from Little Adventures and Little Dress Up Shop. Both are very comfortable and hold up fairly well. Little Dress Up shop held up best. We still have an Elsa dress from 2014 in wearable condition from them. Some trim did come off but still looks okay.

I'm glad I steered away from Presley Couture then! My older daughter has a lot of sensitivities around clothes being uncomfortable, so she wouldn't tolerate that well! I was looking at close-ups of the Presley Couture dresses and they didn't look as well made either (which also plays into the comfort factor). I ended up purchasing from Only Little Once so fingers crossed they are comfortable!

Yeah I definitely think other places are made better. My girls just fit in them so as long as they last this trip then I won't care.

I've bought from this company before! I loved them, my daughter loved them, and the dresses held up really well. I just ordered some more for our next trip since she's outgrown the old ones. Highly recommend.

We have about 12 dresses from here. My 7 year old has been wearing them for years, we haven’t had any issues. Just ordered 4 more for our August trip.

Thank you both for providing these experiences! I'm glad to hear that some folks have liked their dresses (they sure are cheaper than some of the other companies). I'll keep them in mind to try for future purchases.
