where to buy bike like rented at campgrounds

We rented bikes during our last visit and they were great for someone who has a fused spine and cannot "bend" very well. Any idea where I can find a similar one to buy?

IF you mean the cruisers, you can get them pretty much anywhere that sells bikes. Target and Walmart for a cheap one or a bike shop for a better quality one.

Yep, Wal-Mart has them for about $69....Big wide high handlebars, huge soft seat, ties wide enough to ride the bike on water (almost), single speed with coaster brakes. My daughter is begging me for one. They are great for a leisurely ride on flat ground but don't try to really go anywhere.

I have an Electra Townie I like a lot. Cruiser style, 26 speed and solid black, I call it Darth Vader's bike.
Townies are comfortable in that they have what is called Flat Foot Technology. The crank is actually slightly in front of the normal position on a regular cruiser making it a semi-recumbent style bike. It's very easy to put your feet flat down on the ground without the cranks getting in the way when you stop and it makes the pedaling position very comfortable.

That being said, here's the downside:
1. Cost 10 times more than the previously mentioned WalMart bike.
2. I hate to chain it up at Disney (Marina while at parks for example) when I go although I've never had an issue. Makes me want to take a Wally World bike instead, but it wouldn't ride as nice!

It's a really comfortable ride and one of the few bikes I've had that doesn't make my back hurt. The riding position is very upright instead of laying down like a racing bike.

You beat me to it, I just got an Electra cruiser 2 weeks ago. Our youngest son works at a bike shop so I got a deal on last years model, there are some bargains out there if you look around. The bike looks very heavy but is crazy light since its all aluminum. Big bucks but worth every penny if you are going to ride it a lot.
