Where to buy annual pass/anydiscounts in October?

I am new to the DIS boards and am looking for some good discount information. I am interested in buying an annual pass and wondered where the best place to get one is. We are going for MNSSHP in october. Any AP discounts at halloween time?

You can purchase APs at Disney World, or you can go on the Disney website (not sure of the address), and order them. There will be a new discount on MNSSHP tickets with APs, but whether they can be purchased in advance with the discount is uncertain. You may need to wait until the day of the party to get the discount. More info will be available once the tickets are available for sale. The only discounts available on APs are for DVC owners. If you do purchase an AP, you may find it beneficial to also buy a Disney Dining Experience (DDE) card which costs 50. (for AP holders), and gives a 20% discount for many sit down (plus a few counter service) eateries in the parks and resorts. If you do a search on these boards, you can find the list of restaraunts that accept DDE, as well as other valuable benefits that AP holders get.
