Where the heck are the Disney Visa Discounts

I was just wondering that myself yesterday. I have been a member since '05 and primarily got it to take advantage of the members only specials that were announced before they went to GP. Last year, I didn't get a single special before the GP. If the same holds true this year, I'm getting rid of that card all together.

my DVC says member since Day 1....think ive only gotten a usable discount once. have gotten pins otherwise, or gp discounts come out same time or before. for the last 2.5 years havent even gotten a pin code! the only benefit of having this card now is the Mickey dollars you get. one year we used the card for EVERYTHING. ended up not paying for any food or treasures while we were there. take the good with the bad i guess.

I've been saying this very same thing for a few months now .. and then today I checked the mail and I know exatly why I haven't been getting the "5 x the rewards", or anything even close to that!! I use my card for EVERYSINGLE PURCHASE .. today we get an "offer" that says for $49 a year we can get $2 dollars on every $100 spent! WOW WEE! Did you pick up on my sarcasm?!? Whatever.. I'm considering going primarily with my Discover card and earning cash back ... I haven't even had any emails with any early offers because I am a faithful card member, that really made me mad today! :/ UGH!!

Sorry for the vent, but I'm so loyal to Disney and this made me feel really bad...

I love the Costco AMEX card. We are getting back about $550.00 next month and that is CASH. I have a Disney Visa and I use that for the few places that do not accept AMEX. We will have about $100.00 in Disney Dollars for our May trip. For us, the new Disney Visa is just not worth the annual fee.
