Hi, new member here!

My family of 6 is planning to go to Disney late August, and I'm wondering if you guys had any resort suggestions.
My siblings are teenagers (including myself)
thanks!

Have you looked into renting DVC points for a villa? You could get a two- or three-bedroom villa with a kitchen. Your siblings would also have more privacy than they would if you shared, say, a family suite.

Seems to me with that many "adult size" people, you would be better off in a villa, which is a deluxe category, unless you want to book two regular rooms somewhere cheaper. Some villas can be booked even if you're not DVC owners and some you can rent points for (which can be a good deal). There's also the Fort Wilderness cabins, which is now a moderate category. I personally like the Epcot resort area and have stayed at the Boardwalk (a favorite for us). The choices there are Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club. All three have really nice pools and are within walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The boardwalk has entertainment at night.

For late August of this year, late for a grand villa, and limited availability for a 2BR for many dates. Once you are within 60 days of check-in, any unreserved DVC inventory is considered breakage and becomes a special booking category.

When my family travels there are 6 of us - with all but 1 of us kids being a teenager. We generally stay in 2 bedrooms at a deluxe or get a 2 bedroom unit at Saratoga Springs. Booking this far out though you may have some trouble with availability at a lot of the resorts.

I recommend a Fort Wilderness cabin. Not only can 6 people stay there, but there are lots of activities available at the Fort (horseback riding, archery, bike riding, boat rentals, movies & s'mores, etc.), and the Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner show is at Fort Wilderness, too. It's also just across the lake from the Magic Kingdom, so it's just a pretty boat ride to & from.
