Where should we eat Thanksgiving dinner?

Those of you who were at WDW over Thanksgiving week, where did you eat dinner? Was it good? Would you do it again? I realize we have a year to plan but never to early to think about the food!

The evening before Thanksgiving we had dinner at LTT, which is pretty Thankgiving-y. On Thanksgiving we had dinner at Jiko. It was terrific. They offered both a kids and an adult "Thanksgiving" entree. DDs ordered those. The adult plate had turkey (both white and dark meat), YUMMY stuffing, sweet potato souffle, veggies, and cranberry chutney. DH and I had the scallops and DS had shrimp. All the food was terrific. I loved it because it was NOT an all you can eat buffet, so we could just sit there and be served in a calm atmosphere.

We ate at Whispering Canyon for Thanksgiving. It was served family style with smoked turkey, chicken breast (yummy), ham (yummy), mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cornbread stuffing, gravy, cornbread and salad (yummy!) Pumpkin pie for dessert. Totally worth it on the dining plan. I think dh's and my meal totaled $88. Dd's was $20.

Overall, the food was pretty good for being "mass produced". The atmosphere was typical WCC, pretty noisy, but had a good time.

This year ate at the Concourse Steakhouse - excellent Thanksgiving meal, even though I hear it might be closing. Last year at Whispering Canyon - great meal and lots of fun. Past years have eaten at Le Cellier (spelling?) in Canada and Narccoouse's in GF - both very good.

We ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe. You could order off the regular menu or have the traditional turkey dinner. They also had a ham entree. I chose this because even though out kids are both over age 9, they are not big eaters. The dinner price was $20.99 for the turkey which was one of the least expensive I saw advertised. It was delicious. That being said though, before dinner we were at the Poly looking at Christmas decorations. We saw the plates at Kona Cafe and the meal looked identical to ours. We joked that the meal was probably the same everywhere with different prices. Sure enough, the lady I sat next to at the Candlelight Processional on Friday was telling me about her meal - it was the exact same food as we had at the Grand Floridian but she ate at Pop Century Food Court for $11.00/plate.

I would look at the pricing on All Ears for this year, choose a place that you would enjoy the atmosphere and like the price and go with it.
