Where should we eat at Disney Hilton Head?

Oyster Factory is a favorite and we too have never gotten bad service or food at Guisippe's at Shelter Cove.

We just got back from HH and had a great meal at Oyster Factory. We also had pizza one night from Mellow Mushroom which was excellent.

Hemingways was great, best meal of the trip I'd say, other than Wild Wings but it's certainly in a different category.

So getting back to the original post, it doesn't look like many folks have tried many of the places on my original list, huh? I guess we'll just see what we feel like when we get there & skip the list too.

I’ve posted this message on a few other boards as well, but wanted to get as wide a variety of opinions as possible. My DW & I will be driving down to Disney & will be stopping at Hilton Head for the night & will be staying at the Disney Resort there. We should be getting there about 3:00 or 4:00pm and we’ll be leaving the next morning at 7:00 or 8:00am, so we won’t be there long. But we’ll definitely be eating dinner there.

As a way of saving a few bucks, I was thinking of checking out restaurant.com’s list of Hilton Head restaurants. Here’s a list of the participating places:

B-5 Bistro
British Open Pub
Callahan’s Sports Bar & Grill
Corner Stone Grill
Del Vecchio’s
Flavor’s
Giuseppe’s {edited: had Flavor's & Giuseppe's on the same line. Sorry for the confusion.}
Island West Grille
Main Street Café & Pub
Mickey’s Pub
Nick’s Steak & Seafood
Parrot Cove Café
Plantation Café & Deli
Prescott’s Steaks & Seafood
The Studio
Upper Crust

Does anyone have any reviews, positive or negative, of any of these places? I can get a $25 gift certificate for only $5 to any of these places. Or do I just stick with my choices in the Disney resort? If that’s the route I should take, what are your suggestions for the places inside the Disney resort? And why?

I can comment on a couple from experience:

Studio - we had a very nice dinner here. It is a nice room with piano music for entertainment. With all the options on the Island, we probably won't go back - we have some favorites that are better for a nice dinner out, but it certainly wasn't bad.

Callahan's Sports Bar and Grill - okay - casual.

Giuseppe's - It's not gourmet pizza. It's not Domino's or Pizza Hut. It sort of reminds me of Sbarro -maybe not as good. A calzone or a salad or even spaghetti and meatballs is a better choice if you go here. But on a budget with your gift certificate I'd make it work as fast food and it is very close to the resort.

I wouldn't count on eating at Disney - Tide Me Over closes at 5 pm. It's basically fast food anyway.
