Where should I stay for Food & Wine?

Pop sounds like a good choice. We stayed there once. It was pretty good, but, we spent all our time in the parks, so, I barely remember where we were...I think we were looking onto the Computer Pool?

We stayed at POP once and liked it. We liked the food court. Didn't use the pools, but they looked nice. Bus service was always good, never any long waits. Staying there again in January 2011 for the marathon weekend.

It's booked! I ended up going with Pop. Good news is prices on flights came down!! I was going to book Air Tran @ $79 each way. Today when I went to book the return flight was up to $99. Southwest dropped to $99 each way. Since AirTran charges for bags, Southwest ended up cheaper (plus I get Rapid Rewards points). I used the savings on the flight to book an extra night at Pop. I'll come in Thursday night and leave Monday evening. Any particular building or era I should request? Since I'm going solo I'm going to request a king bed.

I think this was a great choice. Rob is right. Why pay more just to sleep? F&W aint cheap! Enjoy it!!

Not everyone possesses the awesome power to make it rain for days at a time at WDW. That power belongs only to a few select people. I know, you are jealous of my astounding weather abilities.

So can we all put in requests for good weather when we go to WDW?



As far as hotels go, I think Pop was a good choice too! F&W does add up quickly!

No, I can only make it rain. I can't make it not rain.

The Pop food court is quite good! The counter service places at the deluxe resorts don't have many choices. I love the turkey ciabatta at Mara but after 15 days I have had enough ciabatta. Pop has more than burgers, chicken strips, a salad, and a ciabatta.

Maybe after staying at Pop I'll only stay at value resorts. On my numerous trips I've found I don't spend much time at the resorts. It's mostly spent in the parks or at dinner or something. As for pools, I hardly use the pool. Seems like every day I plan to go back early to swim or hit the pool at night, but never do. Didn't go into the pool at AKL or POFQ in June, or Poly last June. I did use the pool at BC. I did like the food court at POFQ. LOVED the Jambalaya!! Unfortunately, it didn't really agree with me, but I liked it so much I still got it at least twice.

The chicken alfredo is really tasty at POP. The chicken tv dinner is pretty good too, but I could eat the chicken alfredo 3 times a day and be content.

I have never had a dry vacation in Florida At least when I went in Feb I could wear my Goretex to stay nice and dry...otherwise we've always been in the hot summer heat!

I am hoping for a possible dry spell in June 2011

My Magical Express packet came in the mail today!! Since my flight gets in after 10 pm I'll have to go pick up my bag from baggage claim before heading over to get on the ME. Getting that packet shows it will be here before I know it!!
