Where should I buy my tickets ahead of time?

I am buying two 5 day park hopper tickets and I wanted to buy them before I got to Florida. Where is the best place to purchase these? I heard that the stores don't always have the tickets or something like that? I just want the best price and I want them from a reputable place.

I got mine from AAA.

I always buy mine over the phone through Disney. I then pay them off a little at a time. It's pretty painless and they're paid in full by the time I get there.

I bought our passes from Ticketmania. They came in about a week or two. Won't know until December if they are good, but I've never read anything bad about Ticketmania.

Bought out 5 day hopper plus passes from Mapleleaf tickets ...sent them an e-mail and Omar phoned me from Florida at a pre-arranged time and then posted the passes to me ....I received them 5 days later....I shopped around and found these to be very reasonably priced and the service was friendly and very efficient.

I too get mine through AAA . There is a 5% discount. Just call your local store to make sure they have what you want. With the room discount and the ticket discout plus the 20% we got on HDDR, our discount was greater than our 1 year membership.

If you have a Disney Store near by you go there
They sell the tickets at a discounted price too if you have a Disney club card you can get a discount on your park hopper plus tickets only NOT Park hopper

We got our 7 day PHP through floridaorlandotickets.com found that they had the cheapest rates even with a 7 dollar shipping fee and recieved them within 5 days of purchasing.

Can I ask a really naive question? Since these tickets can originally be bought from one source (Disney), how do these discount outlets beat Disney's own prices? I've heard about place like Ticketmania and Paramount, but I don't get how they can get the tickets cheaper.
