Where Magic Lives park souvenir 2003 DVD vs. free vacation planning video/dvd

Any comments about the "Where Magic Lives DVD", the souvenir dvd for purchase at the parks? How long is it? and does it have enough extra footage over the free vacation planning video/dvd to warrant purchasing?

I haven't seen the souvenir dvd so I can't really make a comparison for you but I'll bump this back to page one and I'm sure some of our veterans can do that for you.

Hi-

I do own the videa and it is about 60 minutes long. I think that it's worth it as it devotes all of the time to the parks as opposed to the parks and the resorts.

A word of warning, however... this video is almost exactly the same as the 100 Years of Magic video from 2001. Don't buy this one if you have that one. Unfortunately, I found out $15.00 later!

I really didn't care for the 100 years of magic dvd. More like an advertisment. Glad someone said they are the same or else I would have shelled out the movie for this one too.

I wish Disney would do a History of Disney World like they have that Disneyland USA dvd.

The "Where Magic Lives" DVD features alot more rides than the free planning videos. It actually takes you through a good part of several attractions throughout DW. It starts with Walt Disney talking about MK... with some old clips of the park. Alot of the attraction videos seem to be dated, like POTC, JC, etc.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Its different enough from the planning videos that I am glad I have it.
