The second floor of Columbia Harbor House is where I go if I need a real break from the crowds. A lot of people don't even realize that you can go up there!

My place of zen is the descent on Spaceship Earth with all the blue stars mirrored into infinity. It is very relaxing, but always over too quickly.

This will sound weird, but I find it very relaxing to sit on a bench at my resort bus stop. Everyone is rushing this way and that, and I feel like an island of calm in the chaos. I might sit out there an hour or more, if I don’t have any particular plans.

Hate to admit I’ve spent longer than necessary in more than a few bathrooms. Some are really nice, off the beaten path and playing wonderful tunes. Air conditioning blasting and nobody else inside. It’s a good recharge.

I'm also a big fan of whatever bench is outside a busy ride, just to sit and watch the people walk past. I find it really soothing. My big life goal is to have an AP that lets me visit WDW whenever I want just so that I can sit on a different bench every day and people watch.

The seating area across from the bandstand in the UK pavilion at Epcot. If there isn't a band playing not too many people are usually back there. Good place to relax and recharge for a bit.

The Muppet Show attraction. I love to just go in and chill in the theater. Also, Sci Fi. I love the atmosphere and it is so quiet and relaxing in there.

I also love the seating area at Flame Tree BBQ in AK.

My dad and I once spent an entire day at MK and never got off Main Street. Just bench hopped and watched the world go by. Then it started raining, so we slipped into Casey's and got hot dogs, and sat down to eat them at one of those little umbrella tables. It was fantastic!

But my absolute favorite spot in any park is Sting Alley at Universal. It's a little pathway through New York that's sometimes used as a scare zone during HHN, but is absolutely deserted the rest of the time. It's a bit of old New York, with vintage posters and whatnot, and when I'm feeling overwhelmed by the crowds I'll often grab a beer, sit with my back against a wall, and just hang out there for awhile. So peaceful.

Well it was Tom Sawyer island until the bear scare . Just kidding. Think I’ve only been over there once in my life. I love frontierland late at night when it empties out. Also a big fan of ppl mover.
