Where is your favorite place to eat at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and City Walk?

This thread is making it even more difficult for me to decide where to eat during my 2-day visit! My problem with Universal is deciding WHERE to eat instead of having to made ADRs 180 days out!

Wait! You mean you don't know what you'll be in the mood for 180 days from now? What kind of park warrior are you!? :)

We were less than adventurous the last time - travelling with 2 picky tweens will do that. I know they are going to want Richters over and over, and I'm not going to do that this time! I think that's the only lunch we ate at Uni last trip. TG their palates are aging well. It's going to be a lot tougher to make choices this time, since their pickiness is out of the equation.

Just got back and I enjoyed all the places I frequent, except the taco stand in the Simpsons area. However, one place that I don't think gets a lot of recognition is the Bread Box. I had the craved turkey/bacon minus avocado and it was delicious…..

I definitely have NOT earned park warrior status! At least I have plenty of time to figure out where we should eat!

Mythos and the Leaky Cauldron are definitely on the list!

Absolutely agree! Not to be missed! Skip the one in apopka though....

Funnily enough a friend who is local told us the very same thing........the one on Kirkman is just fine for us though.....never been disappointed with it any time we have gone.

I took a peek at Bubbalou's website and it it kinda looks like they may have delivery? I would totally go for that if I end up not having transportation while there.

Best quick service type place outside of the parks was Red Oven Pizza. I'm a bit of a pizza snob and generally hate chain pizza, but this was really good and somewhat economical. Best sit down was Pat O'Briens. We really liked that and my kids loved getting the NA Hurricanes (and I loved the real Hurricanes). It is exactly like the famous Pat O'Briens in New Orleans.

I didn't eat sit down at IOA, but thought the quick service stuff was below par compared to comparable type places at Disney. But US was great. We loved Fast Food Blvd (except for the long lines) and loved eating it in Moe's Tavern with a cold Duff's beer. And we did the Cinematic dinner/show thing at Lombard's. Lombard's pretty good. It has no character at all to it, but the food was good and the price was fair for it (by amusement park standards). I wasn't "wowed" but I wasn't disappointed either.

What I understand is that they have sold franchises so....

US - Finnegans
IOA - Broomsticks
City Walk - Bubba Gump or Hard Rock Cafe

there are so many great places to eat while at the darkside on vacation.

i'm sure you'll be tempted to try all the ones that have been listed here.
