Where is your DC's favorite character meal?

Just planning ahead for our next trip....

We took our DS (2.5 at the time) to CP and H&V last year. He absolutely loved both...but since he is so into Playhouse Disney, H&V was his fave.

We have been to Chef Mickey's twice, with 2 different couples. Both times our kids and the adults with us enjoyed this meal so much!! We did b'fast & dinner & I prefer b'fast b/c the food is great but both meals were wonderful!

We'd vote for Chef Mickey's overall, or Crystal Palace if you're into Pooh.

Both my boys loved Garden Grille and the Playhouse Disney meal. They liked the music and such at H&V and then the interaction at the Garden Grille. My 3 year old asked to go back to Donalds Breakfast.

Food wise..they (and I) prefer Chef Mickey's for dinner. Of course they love to see Mickey and friends also. BUT...for characters it's the princess breakfast. They get so excited about seeing the princesses and showing off their own gowns that they hardly eat breakfast!

We've made the rounds and CM is always a must for our family. We all seem to prefer dinner there over breakfast too.

*H & V = Hollywood & Vine in MGM

We really love the Cape May Cafe breakfast buffet with Minny, Goofy, Donald, Chip & Dale. For us it has the best breakfast food selection, great characters and a super atmosphere... Donald's breakfast in the Animal Kingdom is #2 on our list. Good selection of food, fun place, good character interaction with Pluto, Mickey and of course Donald.

Crystal Palace and Hollywood & Vine are also up there. We have been to Crystal Palace once for lunch and twice for breakfast and we liked the breakfast food much better. Most don't agree with us. So you would likely enjoy Crystal Palace for any meal.

We also really love the Garden Grille in Epcot for lunch or dinner with Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale. It is not a buffet but a family-style feast. The food was very fresh and good. It is all-you-can-eat. Like that one a lot.

Finally, is the Liberty Tree Tavern. Also not a buffet. It is a family-style, Thanksgiving dinner. Great atmosphere with some of the best characters- Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale, Minney. Very good food!

Glad to see some good reviews for Chef Mickey's. We have been reading a lot of bad things about it. We have ADR for dinner for our trip in October for our son's b-day. We have never been there before and was looking forward to doing something new and fun. The quality and taste of food is very important to this family, so I was beginning to worry. Good to see some positive feedback!

Food-wise for adults - Chef Mickey's for Breakfast

Our kids (ages 4 & 2) like the Garden grille the best - both for food (mac n cheese, chicken fingers, make you own cupcake) and for character interaction. The characters spent a lot more time playing with them than at the others we went to.

Chef Mickeys - Breakfast to us it was a great way to start our vacation before heading over to MK My husband is a big breakfast eater and loved the food here.

Liberty Tree - Dinner great food thanksgiving style, green beans, mac n cheese, dressing, turkey, roast beef bread. Different then the other places we ate. Plus we had plenty of character time. When we went we were the family that opened the resturant so we had some private character time

Ohana for breakfast was fantastic! Absolutely the best service and food I had for breaky. The characters were fantastic and there is no bad seat in the place. Great fun for all ages!!

Crystal Palace was okay,but I did not enjoy the food and the wait was a bit long for characters.

CRT for dinner was terrific. It had wonderful food and the ambiance was superb.
