Where is the pic of boardwalk villas refurbishment?

We visited last week (1BR) and I was shocked. The metal bamboo chairs with arms at the dining table took up too much space and are out of place. I feel the same about the light fixtures and lamp (don't match). Basically, the faux wood floor and the chairs at the breakfast bar are the only things I like. Actually, the bedroom hasn't changed much and still has carpet.

BTW..We had a split stay at the Poly. WOW..what a difference. The Studios are beautifully and appropriately decorated.

Seems that they put their design effort in the new resorts and make the refurbs more generic. Maybe that's another way to get people to sell their older contracts and buy the new resorts direct?

Well, won't work with me. If I sell BW, it won't be replaced with another DVC. Although, I suspect you are correct.

Besides, you can't swap BWV for PV unless you only want to stay in a studio. The bungalows aren't even on my radar. There's no way, I'd EVER pay that much for accommodations at Disney. I can rent a 12 BR fully staffed villa in Europe for the same $$$$. No contest...IMO

I doubt it. I own at BWV and the main reason is location. Unless Epcot closes, that will not change. I really don't care that much about décor, I'm not going to live there long term. I recently stayed at Poly with 2 friends, with the 2 bathrooms and pulldown bed we were comfortable. But I have no desire to buy Poly, the point costs are too high (to buy and per night).
