Where is the online registration for the kids clubs?

Checking in for our cruise tonight and it's been a frustrating experience. In the beginning, I couldn't get any of the online check in stuff to come up. Tried two different browsers, two different laptops, and our iPad. Logging out and back in. Clearing cookies, etc. I was finally able to book activities, but not do the online check in where I pick our PAT. After a half hour, that stuff finally started appearing and I was able to complete online check in, but I can't find the online registration for the kids club anywhere. Did they move it when they redid the website? I know we can just wait and do it at the port, but I'd rather take care of it ahead of time.

Kids registration was in a weird place - I think under your Details link. I think that was what it was called - on the reservations page where it said Modify, Details, etc. But I couldn't get it to work when I tried it last week. I would fill all the details in, hit submit, and then it wouldn't register.

I had the same issue with online check-in, it only appeared about 40 minutes after I was able to do excursions etc.

Registration for the kids club is in the Details link. The link for the kids club registration opened up once my time for online check in opened up. Enjoy your cruise!

Thank you both. I had checked the Details link and there wasn't a link to do it there. There was "Special Requests" with a link to "add" after. Then underneath was "Child Registration", but there's no link to register after where it says that. I'll keep checking, but if nothing pops up I'll just do it at the port.

I'm just glad to know I'm not completely losing my mind and missing it someplace obvious.

Wow - so glad I read this. I am able to fill out the registration page, but once I hit "register", it doesn't seem to be saving my information. When I get back to the main page, it still doesn't have my children listed. So frustrating !

I am also having this experience. You can click to register your child, fill out the few fields on the form, and submit, but on the reservation View Details page, it still says "Not Registered."

I suspect the registration is working, but the View Details page message is not.

(I tried registering multiple times, three different browsers, Mac and Windows. Same results.)

As a follow up, the registration link eventually appeared, although not until at least one full week past my check in day. But I'm having the same experience as above. I can now enter the information but when I click submit, it takes me back to the main page and still shows "Not Registered". However, even when I log out and log back in on the same computer, or log in from a different computer than the one I completed the registration on, now when I click "Register" it pulls up all the info I submitted. So I'm inclined to agree with jcarwash that the registration is working, but the View Details page message is not.

just chiming in that we too experienced a very frustrating PAT check in, our window opened up for silver at midnight last night and a lot of us couldn't get a PAT, the earliest I saw from our group was 5am and I was able to check in at 7:30am but wasn't opening for us at midnight... the activities and the excursions were open at midnight...

thanks for this question, I am on very little sleep as the result of last night's bookings fiasco and I completely forgot about the kids registration :)

Ive had the same issue with it saying not registered even though I submitted the form several times over the past 2 weeks. Today I called and they said they show us registered so it looks like it is just the detail page is not updating.

Almost 24 hours after doing the registration, my reservation's View Details page now says: "Child Registration: Registered."

As I posted above, following several registration attempts yesterday, the status on the View Details page didn't change from "not registered."

So, there you go.

You got my hopes up. I had last checked the status on Sunday and it still said "Not Registered". So I logged in just now hoping for a change. Nope! Still "Not Registered".

Last Disney cruise I registered my kids online, but when we got to the kids club they couldn't find it and had to register them all over again. Has anyone had any luck registering them online and kids club have the info when checking in?

It worked for our cruise last June, before the website redesign. We just had to pick up the band. They had all the other info from the pre-registration.

I submitted the registration 5-6 times, so maybe that is the method for success. ;-) :goodvibes

I am not being sarcastic, but honestly asking: Is there really a need to:
A) stay up until midnight to register -- do things really fill up before 9AM that day?
B) register the kids online early? DCL knows they are coming bc of their birth dates....?

Aside from that I totally feel for you all and your frustration with the website not working right. What a pain!

This year/this cruise I did my online check-in and Palo reservation around 6am ET instead of 12am ET, and it worked out fine.

Is there a need to register the kids online? I guess not, but it is something DCL has online, however simple it is. So I do it. We think the registration is fine but the web site details are not. :-)

The main reasons to stay up until midnight are to get an early PAT, if you want to book adult dining, especially Palo brunch, and if there's a particular port adventure that you want and has a history of selling out. The earliest PATs and Palo brunch reservations fill up fast.

There really is no need to register for the kids club that first night. I just wanted to get it done so it was done and I didn't have to think about it. It does save time to register the kids before embarkation day. I especially wanted to do it online because my daughter has autism and I like to provide a little info in the "non-medical information" box that I'd rather not have to talk about when we are at the port or on the ship. It's information that is helpful for the youth activities staff to have but my daughter would be upset and/or embarrassed if she overheard me talking to the staff about it.

Gotcha. I certainly understand that and the PP's reason of wanting to do it bc the option is there. I just wondered if that was something I needed to worry about if it didn't work when I register later this week.

I think we are skipping Palo this year. I do want an early time excursion to the Baths though so maybe I will try and stay up...(NOT a night owl)

(NOT a night owl)

And that's the other thing. I am a night owl so there's no real sacrifice in me doing it at midnight. I detest having to wake up early to get ADRs for WDW done at 6:00am 180 days out. And my online check in started 12:00:01am January 1st. I toasted the New Year with a sip of bubbly and logged into my DCL account to check-in.
