Where is the High School Musical Pep Rally?

Was messin around the Disney website and found that this is a new attraction, but couldn't find in which park its in.

Will be there in 2 weeks and DS & DD will go crazy over this...

When we were there about 2 weeks ago it was near Space Mountain and The Carousel of Progress at the Magic Kingdom.

Yes. And it is cute. DD loved it! I didn't see as much HSM merchandise as I would have liked. I did get her the cutest gray hoodie HSM sweatshirt in the Emporium. She is wearing it now!! (We are waist deep in the IL blizzard right now!) If you are looking though, right outside the Rock'n'Roller Coaster is a stand with HSM stuff on it. I saw a water bottle I was going to get for her to take with her to school but the opening was too big for her to neatly drink from.

It was very cool, we got there about 20 minutes early to get a spot near the front which worked out great as DD got to interact with the girl who came down the front of the stage. They did "Status Quo", "We're All In This Together" and taught everyone the routine for the finale. here are some pics to get a feel:

High School Musical is due to be taken out 'immediately' and come back to MGM Studios (that's right...NOT Magic Kingdom, even though that's where it debuted) on a smaller scale at some unspecified date. Our Disney contact doesn't say any more than that, but please be aware it MAY be gone when you arrive.

To tell you the truth, it seemed a little out of place and I even said to DH "That kind of would fit better at MGM".

The show will be at MK until January 6, then move to MGM in late January. It hasn't yet been decided where however!

It would be nice to see the Huntchback theater come back to life. I agree MGM is a better fit (and the original reports said that is where it was going anyhow).

It's right next Space Mountain. It's a small stage. You can't miss though!

This is my opinion only, so take it for what it's worth (which may be nothing), but our Disney PR contact says it will come back (at MGM) on a smaller scale, and since I can't quite figure out how much smaller they can make it, I'm wondering if it was a bit of a flop (not due to the entertainer's enthusiasm, which was vast, but due to the reviews it gets as being a bit ((ok, a lot)) baffling to those who don't know HSM well). I'm GUESSING, and this is only a guess, it's going to sink quietly into the annals of history as a Disney non-starter.

What a shame. We missed it as it was cancelled the two days we were there due to casting issues and DD was VERY disappointed
