Where is the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex - pick up Marathon pkg there

DH and BIL will need to pick up their Marathon pkg and I have looked around numerous sites but cannot locate this. This is not the All Star Resort is it? We are planning our days and where to be and when. Thanks, CindyML

Hi,
It's very easy to get to wide world of sports with disney transportation. Go to MGM and take the bus marked "sports complex" from there. If you are going to drive, it's on Victory Way, which you can get to from either Osceola parkway, or Buena Vista Drive.

I thought I had read that there were to be busses running directly to the expo from resorts. Will we all have to transfer at MGM instead?

For the marathon expo, there will be busses going directly to Wide World of Sports from the resorts. That will be Thu (I think) and Friday and Saturday. It's on the page about transportation in the race info booklet that was mailed out.

You are right. I thought the busses only ran on race day. I checked the cast portal and found:
Marathon Weekend Transportation will be provided from all WDW Resorts to:

Health & Fitness Expo at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex

Family Fun Run at Epcot®

Marathon/Half Marathon Start/Finish at Epcot®

Be sure to ask at your resort where the marathon/expo buses pick up--it is generally close to, but not at, the regular bus stop.
