Where is the cheapest place to get pins?

I'm a little hesitant to buy off eBay because of the fake thing unless someone wants to recommend something. But I'm looking for a cheap place to get some pins.

This is for my 5 year old son. I don't care at all about what they are or value, he is just going to continue to trade them out for the fun of the actual trade, lol. This is purely for his enjoyment so the cheaper the better and we really dont need many. 10 or less to fit on his lanyard. Someone said the outlet stores often had them for $1 but none of them do right now in this area.

So any recommendation for a small lot of cheap pins?

This thread offers up a great list of good pin sellers. It wouldn't be very difficult to copy and paste the sellers into an ebay search and see who is in your price range. Not exactly what you asked for, but it would be a great starting point.

Ive had great success with ebay. Just look at the sellers ratings to be sure.

Bought a bunch of pins getting ready for December trip with DD.
Average price per pin after shipping was a little under $1.50

I found a seller that had lots of recommendations here and then looked for multiple auctions and checked shipping.
Most will combine orders and reduce shipping (other wise your .99 pin could end up costing 3.99).

Tracking says pins will arrive tomorrow, so I will hold off naming until I can confirm, but based on feedback (ebay and here) I don't expect any problems.

As a rule, I would avoid anyone selling just "bulk" pins to trade, as most folks find scrappers there.

The only downside to what I did, is my DD saw some of the order pictures and got excited, so I am not sure how many pins will actually make it to being traded


We have been doing pin trading since she was very young.
We always made her ask the CM a question after trading.
Started with: Favorite Ride? but she got creative as years went on.
What is one secret you know about the parks?
Where are you from? (She was into geography, noticed trends of people from similar states at AK vs MK etc...

Made it fun and even if the CM didn't have anything to trade, each interaction was a treat.

I was surprised about how many CM would give her an extra pin just because she would say Thank You.
Proud of my daughter, but kinda sad that saying Thank You was a surprise to the CM.

there are lots of disney pin trading boards where you can get pins for $2-2.50postage paid , usually with a minimum of 10 pins (I sell them too when I am running out of money to buy pins!).
