Where is the cheapest place to get a 2 day hopper ticket?

from what i have heard the park, and the disneyland.com online store are the same price, you cant really find a deal unless you do more than 3 days.

You may want to check your local Costco. I doubt you are going to see any difference on a 2 day ticket from any of the sellers.

Like BlackJackDelta wrote above, the discounts at a couple of the more popular web-sites appear to be slim to none.

2-day park hopper tickets:

arestravel.com: $149 (adult) / $129 (child) *
DLR web-site: $151 A / $131 C
getawaytoday.com: $151 A / $131 C

* Note: AREStravel will likely charge a $1.25 fee per ticket.

With ARES and GAT, they send a voucher to your e-mail account, and then you need to print it out and take the voucher to a ticket booth (where they give you the real tickets).

With the DLR web-site, if you select the e-Ticket option they send the e-Ticket (PDF file) to your e-mail account, and then you need to print it out and take the e-Ticket print-out directly to the turnstiles (where they give you the real tickets).

Unless you can find something that's significantly cheaper, IMO you're better off getting the e-Ticket directly from the DLR web-site. It's very convenient to go directly to the turnstiles (and avoid having to make the extra trip to the ticket booths).

I don't know exactly were you live in CA, but this is the best deal for summer tickets and it's 3 days at a price cheaper than 2!

Good Luck,

Terese :thumbsup2

Disneyland to offer a special "Summer Fun Pass", 3 days for $99

Disneyland has designed a special summer Southern Californian (and Baja California, Mexico) offer to be available if purchased in advance at selected locations, basically Southern California Grocery Stores. (Vons, Ralphs, Albertsons, Stater Bros., and Gelson's). Based on prior promotions, this offer will also be available at other locations and Disneyland.com.

These tickets go on sale June 16th, and not valid until that date.

The first day of use must be between June 16th and August 30th, 2008. The Summer Fun Pass is Blocked out July 4th (cannot use any of your three days on the 4th).

You then have 45 days to use the other two days. These tickets are ParkHoppers, so you can visit both parks on the same day.

The tickets are cleared marked that each person that uses a "Summer Fun Pass" must have proof of living in the Southern California/Baja California area. (Southern California residents within ZIP codes 90000-93599 and Northern Baja California residents within ZIP codes 21000-22999.)

This is one of the better Summer Discounts that Disney has offered to Southern Californians in a while. It is a 3 day ParkHopper with a longer window (45 days instead of the normal 13 days after first use) and you can apply the Summer Fun Pass to any Annual Pass (of course, the Annual Pass will be backdated to the first day of use of the Summer Fun Pass). But since the Southern California and Southern California Select Annual Passes are blocked out most of the summer. Somebody could buy the Summer Fun Pass, get three visits during the summer period, and then upgrade to a Southern California AP for the rest of the year.

If you aren't a socal resident, I'd check your local credit union.

AREStravel actually costs more than the DLR web-site because of ARES's $5 ticket fee

I don't know where you are getting that. ARES charges a $1.25 per ticket convenience fee. Their price on the 2-day tickets is $2 less than Disney's price, so after the convenience fee, you save .75 per ticket. Not much, but you're definitely not paying MORE than Disney charges!

Mary is correct! AREStravel.com charges a fee of $1.25 per ticket.

Thanks for the correction. I updated my post (#4). :goodvibes
