I'm going to be there for a college football Saturday in early Sept.

My team is going to be on ESPN.

Where is the best place to watch a game on WDW property?

I know most will say ESPN, but I'm not sure I want to go if its going to be a complete zoo. I may check it out though.

How are any of the lounges at restaurants, like Shula's for football?

Thanks in advance!

Good question. We going to be in WDW at the end of September when the UGA vs Alabama is going to be played. Dh refuses to go to ESPN zone for fear it will be a zoo. We're staying at the Beach club and he's hoping the lounge there will have a good tv to watch it on.

The only time I have seen the ESPN Club very busy is when my family and I to the Boardwalk went during the BCS Championship game in Janurary 1999, although I am not sure what it's like when they show regular season games.

I will NEVER go to ESPN club again for a sporting event. the busier it gets the worse the service gets. We were there in may for the NHL playoffs and had the worst service ever!

There's no place that can compare to the ESPN Club if you're a sports fan, you get there early and have a blast!!! The hot wings are excellent!:thumbsup2

Well, I'm a huge college football fan, but I'm only going to watch WVU play that day, since we are there for my niece...

I might just watch the game in the room and get room service or sushi...

I heard Shula's has a nice bar. I am staying at the Swan, so I will check out the restaurants in the Swan/Dolphin.

ESPN Zone would be ok, but I dont plan on getting there more than 30 min before the game, which is at 4:30. And I'd like to be able to hear my game...which is on ESPN, so its likely. I'll have to call that week and find out.

I'm sure I'll find somewhere. I just dont want to be in a complete zoo.

If you had a car, I can tell you the name of a great friendly sports bar we stumbled onto our last trip. But it's on Highway 192.

We watched the BCS last year on our trip at the ESPN Club and we loved it!!! If you get there early you can get a table and enjoy soooo many different games... The ambiance is amazing!!
