Where is the best place to park at Green airport (Providence)?

Is there more than one parking area at Green if you are leaving your car for a week? DH seemed to remember a thread a long time ago that said the parking garage was better than the lot. Anyone???

Depends when you're going. In winter, the garage is the only way to go in case it snows. Long term lots are fine any other time.

I've used Preflight Parking which is across the street (next to Legal Seafoods) from TF Green. They are inexpensive ($53/week) and their shuttles are right there to pick you up at your car.

The garage is more convenient, but also more expensive!!!

The Garage is best if you ask me. It is so convenient. You are practically in the terminal. I paid $19/day in Garage A. Well worth the expense in my opinion.

We parked in the Red Beam garage in August it was about 56 dollars for the week. It was only a short covered walk to the terminal. Barb

Prepaid parking is a great deal. They are across the street but if you haven't been to grren across the street is truely a 5 minute walk from the baggage pickup. Thats the best for prices anyways.

Another one here for Pre-Flight. You park your car and take your keys with you. That way they don't move it to another lot while you are gone like some of the valet services do!

Another for Pre-Flight! I've parked at the old valet at Green that is now the short term parking right outside baggage claim and that was the best. The next time we parked in the garage. I found that Pre-flight was quicker than parking in the garage at the airport because by the time you walk from the garage to the terminal with your bags it takes way too long. As the previous posters said you get into Pre-flight the shuttle gets you at your car and drops you off at the arrival areas.
