I can not make up my mind where we should eat when we go to Animal Kingdom. We have not tried Yak and Yeti. Is it any good?

Thanks

We really like Tusker House. It's one of the best buffets in WDW.

We are here to give Y&Y two thumbs up:thumbsup2, we never miss going there every since they open. Ya Its alot like typcial Amercian Chinese food, with the exception of the fried green beans one of our favorit at WDW:cool1:,with the chilli sauce yum. The Bbq ribs are so good, very well done sauce Is on the sweeter side but not over powering. We always get the swett and sour pork and chicken, note": I save some of the chilli sauce to put over the sweet and sour pork, just awsome!!. We also get the soup, the won ton I think?, pretty typcail but we love soup. I think for the little mouses It might be a streach but they do have a childrens menuse older kids will be able to recuenize the food and should be ok with it. Maybe I am the wrong person to ask about Y&Y, we just like so much, good luck finding a place:goodvibes

We LOVE the Tusker House Dinner Buffet. Our favorite at Disney! :cloud9:

Best CS place for us is Flame tree BBQ, We are trying the Yak and Yeti a TS this October. Rainforest Cafe is pretty good but not on the DDP.

Yak & Yeti is a pleasant surprise, and I consider it the best table service option in the Animal Kingdom. I particularly enjoy the crispy mahi mahi entree and the seared tuna appetizer, but I enjoyed everything on the menu I tried.

Flame Tree is a must for my family when we go to Animal Kingdom. Never tried Rainforest Cafe at AK, but never really care for the Rainforest Cafes around where I am. We have 2 of them within 30 miles.

Yak & Yeti is fantastic - definitely one of my favorite WDW restaurants!! It is also the home of my favorite "adult" beverage in WDW - the Yak Attack!!!

Thank you for the Yak&Yeti review.

We love RFC and we always want a TS to est at for some AC in June.:goodvibes

We will save RFC for DTD and do Yak & Yeti for AK :thumbsup2

What we seem to like on the TS menu:
:thumbsup2Lo Mein - Lo Mein noodles, carrots, cabbage, green onoins, bean sprouts; Chicken $15.99 for DD
:thumbsup2Stir-Fried Beef and Broccoli - flank steak, broccoli, brown sauce $17.99 for DS
:thumbsup2Crispy Honey Chicken - tempura chicken, broccoli, carrots, honey sauce $17.49 for DW & DH

soda, tea or water to drink - :confused3cost = ? maybe $10

Our total TS OOP about = $79 plus tip

Are the portions very large for the adult Lo Mein ?
My DD may want the kids portion which would be $8 less and she may finish the portion.

Maybe we should do Yak & Yeti counter service ?
Honey Chicken $9.99 for DS, DW, & DH
Shrimp Lo Mein $10.99 for DD
Drinks = $10

Our total CS OOP about = $51 and no AC & no seats.
For $28 we would get AC & seats - not sure if it is worth it.

One of my dining companions and I both had the chicken lo mein at Yak & Yeti. It is quite a large portion. I finished it because I am a bottomless pit but it was too much for my dining companion!! The cream cheese wonton dessert is not to be missed either!!!!

We love Yak & Yeti! The food there is so good for a park restaurant. My favorite is the cream cheese wontons.

We've tried (and loved) Flame Tree BBQ but skipped it last year to try Y&Y. It was awesome and very very well air conditioned but this August we're going back for some great BBQ!
