Where is the best drop off - DTD?

We most likely will uber over to the parks from our non-disney Hotel off Katella. I've read that its best to be dropped off at one of the restaurants across from the Harbor drop off like the IHOP. I've also read that there are signs posted saying no drop offs allowed. Where is the best place to be dropped off that is allowed. What about DTD - does that drop off require a u-turn on Harbor? I don't know where the DTD drop off is located? Thanks!

The drop off for Uber/Lyft/taxis is right across from the IHOP. There are definitely lots of people that get out of the cars in front of the IHOP/Coldstone area just on the street but the IHOP and ParkVue both get really mad at drivers who use their parking lots.

We went for one day back at the beginning of August and we took Uber to DTD. The drop off area has changed a bit since last year. The DTD "Self parking" is now cast member parking (or at least it was in August). Most cars looking to park over there were being turned around and directed elsewhere. Uber and Lyft are still able to drop off and I've circled in red where I believe we were dropped off at. (It may not be exact, but it's close.) Hopefully someone else whose been more recently can correct me if this has changed at all.

The Harbor drop off lot is just south of the Harbor entrance to the parks, on the same side of the street, as shown in the map in the post above. The Harbor drop off lot is the best place to be dropped off or picked up. Do not use the businesses across the street for drop off/pick up -- there are signs posted forbidding this. For DTD/DLH, the drop off/pick up is between the Lilo lot and the DLH, as shown on the map in the post above. Drivers have a 15 minute grace period -- they just need to tell any CMs at the booth that they are doing a pick up/drop off. There are now large signs designating the pick up/drop off lot. We walked by there on Monday (9/02/19), and it was still working normally.

I always let Uber or Lyft select the address for me. If I'm wanting to go to Downtown Disney i'll start typing in "Downtown Disney" and use what pops up. Same with getting dropped off on Harbor. Sorry i'm not sure of the exact addresses.

Depending on where you'll be coming from, some posters here have reported that they like being dropped off at the PPH then walking through the PPH parking lot to the DLH bag check. If you will be coming from south/southwest of the parks, that might be another option.
